  12. Thanks nefarious, eventually ill install lock washers, the 2 inside nuts are welded on, on both brackets, it's tough to get my hands in there so I did that instead
  13. Haha thanks bushnut, I did, I ended up using window sealer silicone in between the carrier and body, same with the latches

Thank you, I made those plates as close as I could to the shape of the quarter panel, I'm thinking of attaching both plates I'm just waiting on more time I would've liked to hole saw a hole in the second layer of the c pillar and weld a pipe to both layers for more strength, I worry that over time the panel will crack around my plates
  15. I put my weight on it with it open and it didn't sag, I want to add more bracing though before I add a tire and gas can
  16. A friend and I installed the carrier I had sitting in my garage, it's off a 1997 but it fit perfect, I'm looking for ideas to reinforce it more

I'm a mechanic and I started out with a small box of husky tools which I recommend being that I still have and use the ratchets and sockets even after hammering on them, I bought them 7 years ago, I've had good luck with harbor freight impact sockets, the majority of my air tools are matco, and the rest of my tools are snap on, I wouldn't cheap out on air, electric, or torque tools since you want those to last and be accurate, also you don't want an air compressor inside unless you want your hearing to go
