  1. Looking Good! i'm planning on ordering the 4x4 parts UCA's and Rear Springs. Going for 2.5" - 3" of lift for my Pathy! mostly because my rear springs have collapsed..... lol
  2. I'm still here lol but i bought some new Shoes for my Pathy ^_^ 31x10.50R15 Nexen MT Rodians. Nothing too crazy, but at 115$ my cost per tire couldn't say no! and i think they look good!!
  3. my Truck needs new shocks all around and i had Rancho 5000's on my last Pathy, i will be ordering them again. didn't know about 4x4parts last time, so i spent alot more. lol glad to get them at a great price this time!
  4. Installed my strut rod bushings yesterday. Needed to weld new races in. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
  5. So I got my polybushings in today...... strut rod kit is wrong .... says it's for a 240z.... Hope they can get me the right ones quick.. need to get this one done this coming weekend Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk

  8. Not bad, it's nice that we have that ability to get parts for our wd's still. I get a good deal cause I'm employed by nissan lol Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
  9. Rx8's are decent cars but the motor is extremely limited sure to being side ported (specific details if u want) they run well, but must be maintained as a performance vehicle. Rx7's I'm gonna break these up into turbo and non turbo. Turbo: problems usually developed when people tried gaining more power, with increasing fuel. Rotaries are not fuel efficient (I average 13mpg with my ported non turbo) most get around 18mpg. What happens is the lack of fuel causes detonation, and that breaks Apex seals. Which causes low compression and smoking. Turbos by nature are usually driven harder. Which means then show more issues sooner. Non Turbo: these are fun to drive, but the lack of low end power means a new driving style, hanging out at 7 - 8k rpms becomes normal to have a fun spirited driving session. Problems are more vacuum related for the 6port system they utilize (specifics if u want k More details) When buying a rotary, I highly recommend along for maintenance records, if they claim "fresh rebuild" ask for receipts. If they bought a rebuild kit and did it themselves, you have to wonder how well it was done. I'd it was built by a known builder (mazdatrix, atkins rotary, racing beat) then you can feel at peace. Bring a compression tester. Do not trust that it starts up as a test. My rx7 I currently own, I bought with a blow engine (knowingly) but it started up every day, and drove me around for over a year before I rebuilt it. I can provide details for proper compression testing of rotary engines. All In all, the rotary engine is a performance engine, provide proper maintenance and they still last a long time. Treat them right, and drive then how Mazda designed then for. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
  10. my cost here is 35$ i was quoting list price so people weren't upset when they went to nissan and were quoted double lol
  11. Actually Happy, Here at My Nissan Dealer we can get the Strut Rod/Radius Arms/Tension Rods (lol too many names) for about 65$ a piece. i'm pretty sure Any Nissan can order. heres the Part Number 54470 - 31G00
  12. i Own, Build, Port, and Race Rotary. What is Thy Question. lol
  13. Yeah they always look good! i'm just weird i guess. i could be considered a "Closet Wheeler" i've been doing SCCA, NASA, and Drifting my whole "racing" life. never got into lifted 4x4's and such, but everytime i drive my pathy all i can think about is finding somthing to try and get over. i'm liking the challenge. just don't tell my SCCA buddies... lmao yeah, i'm looking at the SCX 10. found one here locally for 170$ so hopefully after payday i can pick it up ^_^
  14. Kyosho is cool, but they are very detailed, but not very much "modding" or usage from them. lol (so says my Uncle)
  15. i've only found a few. like mentioned it doesn't look too detailed, but hey. its got the similar look to a wd21 so that makes me happy! yeah they are cool, i have a Drift RC right now. its got a 2013 Mustang Body on it right now. love that thing lol hmmmm thanks i'll check them out! lol i'm not to concerned about absolute detail, i just think its cool that i could have a pathfinder R/C car ^_^ lol. i've been trying to find 1/10 scale FC rx7 to drift with

    RC Crawlers

So i'm getting into these RC Crawlers, my uncles a Jeep guy and i have a buddy with a XJ RC. and they look like fun. so been thjinking about getting into them. revcently i found a "Trail Finder 2 T Finder" and its a Scale Crawler with a Pathfinder Body!! i'm excited to get one.... its just the 400$ investment up front thats stopping me lol. anyone else have an RC Crawlers?
  17. oh perfect i'll give that a glance, thank you very much! Thankfully, this truck already has New Upper & Lower Ball joints, and New Outer Tie Rods. All work performed by Nissan 2 months before i bought the truck (receipts were provided upon purchasing the truck lol) needs the Center Link now though, i can feel some play in that one.
  18. wow, i wouldn't have guessed that! i was gonna order red because they "look" upgraded lol. but i'll definatly order the blacks instead in that case! still trying to figure out which bushings i "need" names of things still throw me for a loop. nissan calls them one thing, and everyone else calls it somthing else. weird. so, i'm thinking my list goes as follows: Lower Control Arm Bushings: Poly Upper Control Arm Bushings: Poly Radius Arm Bushings: Poly/Factory (depending on if it needs rings welded for repairs) Sway Bar End Links: Poly Sway bar Bushings: Factory (already replaced them) This should take care of the Front right? lol
  19. Thanks guys, i'm really appreciating the input! keep it coming!
  20. i've bought a couple parts here at Nissan, but parts for the WD's are dwindling. and usually cost near as close to aftermarket Poly stuff. (one of the reasons i asked against Rubber vs Poly) i'm pretty sure i'm going to be buying major stuff here like New Radius Arms and the new Radius Arm Brackets here due to avaliablity.
  21. Alright, so. my truck is kinda scary on the highway because pretty much the whole front end is loose. lol i'm willing to bet i don't have a single good solid bushing. i figured, since i'm in the process of buying new tires for my Pathy. i might as well rebuild the front end. NOW, my plans are to buy a lift kit. i wanted to use 4x4parts.com's upper control arms teamed with ZJ Springs to gain about 2.5", with a 2" body lift. not planning to run that large of tire, but i do like the look. So, on that note. wheres the best place to get the bushings i need? Stock Rubber vs Poly Bushings? This will be a piece by piece part ordering since i'm a broke ass Nissan Technician lol (unless i can get a bushing kit for a good price lol)
  22. Mine seems to have been the Rubber line between the Rails by the Distributor (like everyone else lol) replaced the line and new clamps. no concerns this morning ^_^
  23. I've got this Exact problem, i'm actually at work right now, might as well take a peek! lol
  24. its kinda universal for any e-fan setup. theres 3 ways to set this up. 1 of them being stupid... lol Setup 1: Proper Coolant Temp Controlled E-Fan. Parts: e-Fan Temp Sender and controller 50 amp relay 20 amp fuse assorted wiring this is the best way, as it will allow the vehicle to warm up, and not have to constantly be monitored. (i would still install a bypass switch just in case it fails you can still manually activate the fan) setup 2 (manual swtich) Parts: e-fan 50 amp relay 20 amp fuse 20 amp switch assorted wiring this was will allow manual control of the fan. the user MUST MAINTAIN CONSTANT CONTACT OF TEMPS i'd HIGHLY reccommend a aftermarket Water Temp Gauge setup to better monitor temps. setup 3 (Stupid way....) Parts: E-Fan 50amp switch assorted wiring. This way allows manual controll WITHOUT a Relay setup.... my opinion ONLY IN EMERGENCIES..... this will have a High Amp Wire Traveling through your dash unprotected and can EASILY become a Fire hazzard. i've done this on my FC once because my Relay fell off and hit my Pulleys lol.... i do not reccommend this for repeated long term use. After Note: I use Taurus Fans on most of my cars due to the size and flow of the 2 speed setup. the high speed DOES pull 50 amps pretty easily. so if you are using that you will need a 50 - 60 amp fuse to protect that circuit. BUT i've never needed the High Circuit even on my Race Cars.
  25. Hey Guys, i'm not from Australia, but i may need some help sourcing some parts for my New car lol i recently picked up a 1974 Mazda Rx2, (Capella to u i believe) its very hard finding certian parts for them. if you know of any where i can look, or such. please pm me. trying to get my Capella Ready to be Road Legal ASAP thanks guys!!
