Been too long since i've posted here. but heres some updates on my Pathy. she's still running strong. i've installed a hitch so i can finally tow my race cars, and finally got my 4 wheel drive to work. lol problem was on the axles. the shims that are held onto the axle by the snap ring were put on backwards (before me, i never touched those lol) so i cleaned and reinstalled them correctly, and BAM everything works perfectly. its amazing. planning on taking my Pathy back into the hills to test my new off road abilities lol. thank you for those who were helping me here. heres a recent picture of the Pathy ^_^

And they still don't work Axles spin, but they won't catch..... so either my hubs are broken, I didn't fix them right, or voodoo isn't happening. Lol Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk 2

Well, it was dead today. So I decided I should actually take my hubs off. So when I took them off one was locked solid, other was free Wheeling. So I pulled both out, greased them both, and put them back together. Hopefully it works. Lol haven't tested yet Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk 2

Took apart my auto hubs, found one of them was stuck. Other free wheeled. So cleaned then both and reinstalled. Hope my 4x4 works now lol. If not. Manual hubs here I come! Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk 2

Thanks guys been busy at work and haven't even been able to take my hubs off.... i'm staying late tomorrow for work, i'll bring my truck into the shop and tear her apart (kinda sucks being a tech... all your nice tools are at work.. lol )

After the weekend i have utmost confidence in my Pathy..... the driver... noooot so much... i'm still rather new to offroad so picking my lines is something i'm getting used to. lol

No I've never had mine open. (My old pathy went in 4 wheel 1 time...) I'll take a look and see what's up. Just sucked that I couldn't make it up a baby trail cause of this.... I'm liking the idea of manual hubs (so does my dad lol) so I might just do that anyways. But I'll defiantly check them out first. Another question. ... rear lower control arm bushings.... where can I buy some? Alright. So yesterday I was crawling, and decided that I needed 4x4. Pulled the lever, and heard the click. Went over a couple obstacles, then got high centered. Someone was nice enough to come help guide me off. He mentioned that my front wheels weren't turning. So I ended up having to get winched out. This morning, I looked at everything, and everything is there. (Axles, driveshaft) the lever does move the switch on the t-case. One thing I was wondering, has anyone ever had their hubs get stuck open? And not engage? Reinstalled my HID's into my Pathy. just some simple 8k bulbs, but i liked the look in my old WD21, and just found the kit, forgotten i had taken them off when i sold her. ^_^

Yeah, I loved driving mine. i didn't do much offroading mostly, because i thought it was lame. and drifting/AutoX took up all my time. but when i went out with the Jeeps, i found it was a whole different challenge. and while, i may never be a full on "Off Roader" i do like the idea of loading up my family, heading up a trail, and having a pic-nic. and i definatly LOVE the style of the WD21. and enjoy how they drive and definatly how reliable they are!. my first WD21 went through hell because i was in school and sometime she went 8 - 10k on a oil change i couldn't afford to change the oil, but i would add a quart and change the filter every once and a while. and she NEVER quit! only "failure" i had was a leaky Clutch Slave cylinder. which cost my 8$ and 15 mins of my time and BAM! back to full strength! I'm looking forward to learning all the tricks of the trade. and learning anything to keep my Pathy Running and Pullin Strong! alright, SO! R51 Owners (05 - 12) look at the front of your truck and see if you have a External Trans Cooler, if you do Yippie!! if you don't.... GET ONE. its a growing trend for the Trans cooler to leak into the radiator, DESTROYING THE TRANS!!! i've already had to Service 2 Trans (full replacement) and have seen 6 more! (2 out of warrenty and Nissan wouldn't cover it!) its a simple repair to eliminate a 3400$ bill!!
