1. Not those King products. Something else. Only place I can find these part numbers are in ebay listings with no info. I have sent a few emails to a main distributor for King Springs in AUS. To see if they can find any information. I'll post findings.

As for King Springs, $185 AUD a pair plus shipping. Getting shipping quote now to Miami, Fl.

  2. Hopefully some Australian members can see this and help us out. I was poking around on some Australian sites that sill lift kits for the R50 Pathfinders. Came across a set that has the King Springs 35mm lift and a set that says it includes extended length struts. Hmm. Here is the excerpt from it.

As you can see. There is the part numbers. But no manufacture. I have emailed them trying to get more info. But havent received a response yet.
Can you imagine though? Being able to pay a lil more to end top-out issues with AC springs!!

  3. The only time I have seen CVs break is when that particular wheel is spinning at speed then hits the ground or gains traction. But even then, on most pathfinders it doesn't break but bends the tie rods into pretzels.

One way to help eliminate that is to get a locker for the front. Either a air locker or lunch box locker (Lokka for example.).

  4. I know both of you guys are having issues. I know my dealer, if I cant figure something out. They will do a diagnosis for $100. Yes, its $100 we shouldnt have to spend. But sometimes it just may be worth it. The only upside is the $100 goes to any repairs if I have them fix it. So, if the parts & labor are less than 100 I just let them fix it.

  5. The one thing I do like about Interstate is they just go off the date/code on the battery if you don't have a receipt. They don't care who owned it before you. Around here anyway.

Same for Napa Batteries. Plus I have always had good luck with Napa batteries. I did have a Interstate battery last 5 yrs down in AZ. Which surprised me.

  6. Fuel pressure regulator test.
Check the injectors one or many might be sticking.
Also check test every component of the EGR system.
Did you get your new maf in or try. A new one yet from a donor car?

Sent from smert fone

7. Ironman springs are available in the states by a few vendors. Which reduces the cost substantially. Just that shipments to the states are only every quarter or so. So once stock is gone. Its gone for awhile.

I have looked into the King Springs personally. Even called King Springs in AUS to ask if they had a international supplier. Only way is to buy them from a supplier in AUS that will ship em to the US. Which I found a few. But the springs are about $315 AUS a set, plus about $200 AUS shipping to the US. Plus the time to wait for them. 2-6 weeks shipping time. Overall it isnt to much more than OME form some suppliers here in the states. But King did say any warranty issues would be tough to handle and would be case by case only.

But, knowing me. I may just be the guinea pig to do it. As I tend to like to do things different.

  8. Its true. The EPA and FDOT is out of control. But going there probably gets to political for this forum.

The FDOT safety standards is one reason why new trucks & SUV look horrendous. They basically have to have the same height bumper as a car. Remember the trucks from the '90s? They would come factory with damn near a 6" lift. Now? You can barely clear a speed bump.

  9. Hmm those gear are interesting. I personally would like more low to mid range power. Doing 65mph with the trailer I'm usually at 23-2500 rpms. But going up hills it has to kick down and them im 3500+. But if I could have more mid power so it doesnt have to kick down. That would be great.
