I have a 95 Nissan pathfinder and this happened to me and my sister we came to a stop and the pathfinder barely wanted to move and it seems like it was struggling to move. We turned it off and back on and drive off fine. Had the transmission fluid changed less then 6k miles ago and this problem happened before we had the fluid changed. But this problem seems to happen only after we come to a stop. I have almost 228k miles. Any suggestions? Thanks

update it hasnt done it latley and i havent noticed the orange light flashing. im at 226k miles as of this morning and the transmission still is very strong. thanks for the replies

i rather it be my brakes lol. i dont think the brakes hasnt been touched since 200k. i'll def check out those and grease them.

automatic and no it doesnt rev. just feels like the brakes are on when i tried taking off but its only when i use the brakes hard when comming to a stop. i turned it off for a few minutes and it was fine. i hope its noth the trans maybe the brakes got stuck. but i was seeing if this happens to anyone. thanks

i have a nissan pathfinder with 224k miles and sometimes when i stop kinda harsh and when i take off it feels like the brakes are holding on still and the truck feels like its struggling to move. i turned it of and checked my distribrutor cap to see if it was loose cause last time this happened it was cause the cap was loose and it never happened after that till a few days ago and the cap was tight. i started it back up after a few minutes and it was all fine. i did changed the fluid at 222k miles. thanks

Has anyone ever fixed the center console lid where it just stays shut so it doesnt pop open everytime you hit a bump? i went to the nissan dealer to see if they have a new replacement part to keep the lid shut but they say they dont make it anymore and to replace the lid it was 85 bucks and all i need is that little peice to hold it shut. has anyone did a fix on this? thanks.

i just bought procomps for my pathy gotta return them cause the front ones are bouncy when i hit dips. almost lost control on a back road cause the front end wont stop bouncing up and down.

ok so i got the front shocks done. couldnt do the rears cause it didnt come with the boots have to ask the ebay user whats up with that.

hi i have a 95 pathfinder automatic and with aload enough to make the rear end sag i noticed going up hill it getting alittle hotter. is this normal? my gauge reads alittle colder than normal with out aload but when i go up hill with aload the gauge goes up half way. thanks

i checked that fuse its fine its a 15. only thing i can check now is the relay. is there any relay i can pull out and try it on the fog lamp relay before i start testing the wires?

i quoted 480 for hercules all trac for 4 new ones i bought 4 used ones at the junk yard they were brand new it was the winston winner LT but one blew out and bought another 2 used ones they are ironman brand tires they are alittle softer and probably wear out fast but heres the winston winner LT i light it cause its allter and fatter and heres the other 2 ironmans i was hopeing to find the good years i had on before which are these

the relay

fust is good and its a 15 so its the relay im gonna try next. is there any fuse in the hood i can try instead of buying one or chancing one from a junk yard? thanks

when i turn the switch on the light on the switch lights up but no fog lights. im thinking it could be the relay but if the switch is lighting up wouldnt that mean the relay working? thanks

anyone seen the how to on replaceing the shocks? tried searching for it and i found nothing. thanks

thanks for the replies! i did went underneith their isnt a orange sticker. i did replace the diffrental fluid with lucas and it is for lsd. but that was 30k or more miles ago. i have the stock set up trans cooler. heres where my gauge sits at when its fully warmed up.

i have a 95 nissan pathfinder and i noticed when i turn the wheel sharp either way i can heard the back wheel grabing on the ground and i also hear the lsd or locker making noise on the back like its a gear noise kinda like its in 4x4. is this normal been making the noise ever since i got it at 170k some miles and now it has 220k. also in the morings too and i know its happened to other people here too when i get on the freeway when the truck is cold it doesnt want to get into overdrive until a few miles later then it will go into od. i changed the thermo on this awhile back and for some reason the temp gauge only goes maybe alittle more than a quater way up and it has the oem whatever temp degree you put in there. was a p.i.t.a to do since you had to remove everything just to remove and put back.

thanks i waiting for my tax refund to come in the mail so i can get them. the wire that plugs into the stock shock can i strap it to the side somewhere and cover the plug so the water doesnt get into it or will it be ok uncovered? i just dont want water getting into it and sorting something out. thanks.

Do I need to sand it with the rust converting primer? No I havent pulled the molding yet. Not yet still looks solid. I did this awhile back a few years ago to look like theres isnt some molding missing but i noticed that rust was just starting a few years back. I just bought my pathy back from my brother inlaw.
