  1. Took my sister and her friend home, tried to find salvage yards with black Pathfinders. Struggling to decide whether or not to mount a cupholder to the passenger side dash.
  2. It's like the interiors lol. Brown Grey, Blue Grey, and Grey.
  3. It just occurred to me you're from Utah. Where in Utah, exactly? I have family about the state. I absolutely love Moab and surrounding in the summer, but most of my family is from around Spanish Fork.
  4. Somehow, the ricey wing and carbon fiber hood make the S14 look less lame lol. Nice VQ swap though.
  5. The SE was still only 4-lug. And I think a guy in Fort Worth bought the last one floating around the state, unfortunately. But yeah, Silvia was a MkII XE, whose last owner swapped in a CA18DET, to no avail, and I played the fool. Sold the CADET to buy the Pathfinder. That was a good decision. I'm in Arlington. What other forum are you talking about, by the by?
  6. Craigslist Posting for 1995 Pathfinder Does that Pathfinder look black or gunmetal? I don't know what all colors these trucks were sold in, but it doesn't look exactly black to me. I ask because my truck is black and is in need of some exterior parts. I'm thinking of heading out there, but it's 30 miles from where I am, and that's a lot of gas for my budget.
  7. Baby Silvia. She doesn't run. Never did since I owned her. Bought her for $1700 from a dude on Club S12, before I joined Club S12. Worst decision I made, aside from this one chick I dated. Still on my driveway, that car. Dad keeps giving me @!*% about it. She's for sale if you're interested
  8. I live in Dallas/Fort Worth. It snows once or twice a year, here, depending on El Niño. Right now, we're in La Niña, so I don't think it's gonna snow this time around. In Amarillo (Not Armadillo; that's an animal. Amarillo is Spanish for "Yellow", which is what the soil was colored, due to rich helium deposits. Town was set up to mine helium, I'm completely serious) it snows more reliably. Amarillo is north of Albuquerque, New Mexico, though at a lower elevation. It's about 12 hours north and west of Houston, for a Texan driver, but it's closer to 14 if you're relatively sane behind the wheel. Couldn't tell you how many miles; in Texas, distance is measured in units of time xD I do know I'd have to drive 3 or 4 hours to get to Louisiana, 11 to get to New Mexico through El Paso, 2-3 hours to Oklahoma, and 7 hours to Galveston. The habitable part of this state is too damn big.
  9. If you're adding an oxidizer, you'll need to add an aftermarket fuel management system, more often than not. This applies to Nitrous Oxide systems, pure O2 systems, and the like. You can generally get away with small amounts of forced induction, or improved cams, on stock computers, but when you get into heftier mods like high-boost, or oxidizer, you'll need to change your engine management system to compensate. That being said, if you're running a fairly small amount of oxidizer, you might try larger fuel injectors on the stock pulse, to accommodate the artificial lean condition you'd be creating.
  10. Hey, you're from D/FW, too! Welcome to NPORA, from the other new guy. We should get together and talk S-chassis with our Pathfinders one of these days lol
  11. It's a good thing I searched before the trolling was finished. Tungsten makes me lol xD
  12. The 95-98 Altima had a half-DIN cupholder beneath the radio head unit. I picked one up at a salvage yard a few months ago, I was gonna put it in my S12, but that didn't pan out. I considered making a bracket for it and mounting it in the passenger-side dashboard, but I don't know what's behind the foam rubber. That crumple right there, you see it? Last owner did that. That's why I need welding equipment. Gotta get the core support replaced, need new headlamp assemblies, and a new hood. Doesn't do me much good to try and calibrate the headlamps when they got smashed so bad the screws aren't even in the wreckage. I think I might talk to Tungsten then lol
  13. This one is in Texas. We'll be lucky to get a snow day this month or next. Somehow, I doubt that happening, given the recent string of 70-degree days. Also, massive Stage-4 drought, so not even any rain.
  14. I think I'm gonna have to stick to my tried-and-true method of only owning pre-95 Nissans. Pathfinders, S-chassis, Skylines, Z's - all better driver's cars than the crap out now. Used to be a car was something you DROVE. Now it's a means by which to quickly get to work and the store. In that case, might I suggest we stop manufacturing cars, altogether, and improve mass transit infrastructure? It's all the same, and "greener". I despise FWD, I refuse to buy anything without a clutch pedal, and if it has more than 2 doors and a hatch, it's either a E36, or it's got a transfer case, if it wants to be on my driveway. I thought Nissan was better than this. I thought they'd let Toyota and Honda make the big screwup, while continuing to put out good cars and innovating. (Isn't Innovation Nissan's motto?) I mean, Nissan is one of two of the 4 Japanese automakers that still has an (albeit small) same-badge sport line. (And Mazda only has the MX5 Miata now) I never expected they'd take their storied sport-ute and turn it into a useless family car on the Altima platform. 2013 Pathfinder? More like 2013 Stanza Wagon. Only way Nissan's gonna redeem themselves now, in my eyes, is if they redesign the Xterra to be worth something, and introduce a small RWD sport coupe, a la the old Nissan SX.
  15. I know, it was the damnedest thing to look at. The only damage on either fender is the passenger corner light is smashed. It's all contained between the fenders. There's paint scraped on the bumper, that's the only thing makes me think it wasn't a deer. Anyway, thanks again for the warm welcome. I'm trying to source parts today, and I'll get pics up as soon as I have her straightened back out.
  16. It's probably illegal in Washington, but I know it's perfectly legal in Texas. Hell, whenever I drive at night, I have my fogs on, since my headlights don't exactly aim at the ground anymore. (I am working to fix this, just need some cash and welding equipment) Anyway, today, I got my radio working how I want it, tried to figure out a way to get an old Altima cupholder into the truck somehow, and picked up bread and cheese for a midnight sandwich. Speaking of cupholders, any ideas? I don't know if there's anywhere I can put this Altima cupholder.
  17. It's all flat prairie, most of it privately-owned. Most of the places you could even consider camping in are by reservoirs, and that's middle-class camping if you catch my meaning. The best camping is the kind you have to get off of a road to find. Oh yeah, I know that'll be easy. Whole front end's basically identical to the Hardbody, and there's a damned million Hardbodies in Texas. Mexicans love 'em xD I wish I had an S12 SE. My 200 is just a MkII XE with a poorly-swapped engine by the last owner. I ended up selling the engine to buy the Pathfinder. No room for Silvia anymore, though, gotta find someone to buy the shell or she becomes scrap. If I had had an S12 SE, though, I certainly wouldn't be here talking about Pathfinders lol Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
  18. Hey, I'm Schizo, I recently got an old WD21 and decided I'd join up after talking to some buddies on Club S12 and TexasNissans. So here I am, I guess. About my Pathy, it's a '90 SE 5-speed 4x4 I picked up off a guy in Fort Worth who ran it into... Something. He wouldn't say. So the front end's a bit crumpled. Didn't bend the radiator itself, or screw anything up too bad. Just the hood, grille, lights, and core support. Running 210,000 miles. (In the background is the S12 I have to get rid of, sadface) I'm a bit young, but I'm not inexperienced with mechanics. (Or VG30's) Bit new to offroading, though. Seemed like a fun thing, the truck was running and right inside my price range, so I bought it, and took it out to a field behind the high school I went to. Had more fun than some of the races I've been in. Some buddies and I are gonna get everything back to spec, get the cruise control fixed, and road trip somewhere more north and west of here to go camping somewhere that isn't by a reservoir. (For those who don't know, the only natural lake in Texas is actually a swamp, and there's nowhere good to camp here, unlike Colorado and Utah, where I have family) Anyway, I'm here to learn and be a part of another Nissan enthusiast community, hope we have a good one. -Schizo
