  1. Its a crap-shoot some times, I can go out and start it just fine and go to the store and try to restart it to go home, and 2 things will happen it will either start or it wont. :headwall: I need some insight please
  2. I cant figure it out, I swapped the starter, jumped the battery, and 75% of the time it will turn over just fine. The other 25% of the time I can turn the key and it will make a "clicking" sound or it will make no noise and do nothing, but there is power to everything (stereo, Windows, headlights,ect..) What would cause it to do that a switch/relay or other? When it does nothing i will hit the starter with a crow bar and it will start If anyone has a clue, thank you in advance for your response
  3. that would cool I have a front plate but it does not cover the front diff. and one on the gas tank, I also do not have a T-case skid plate. I would like to check yours out when meet to get the sway bar. Would a older model skid plate fit on a 95' or are they year specific
  4. Are there skid plates available for the 95 and older Pathfinders, either aftermarket or OE? I have one for the gas tank, but do they make one or did they come with one for the transfer case from the factory
  5. I have a 95 SE and and averageing about 15 mpg or about 300 miles to a tank, mine is lifted 3" BL and and still run the stock tire size 31 10.50
  6. I have about 185000 miles on it. It runs pretty good outside of some starting issues
  7. not to be a thread jacker, but I have a automatic in my 95 its shifts fine when driveing and goes into reverse with know issues. But when i go from Park to drive there is about a 2 sec. delay before it kicks into gear, after that it shifts just fine into the other gears. What would cause the delay? and is it going to hurt it driveing it like that? Could it be a seal or a sensor?

  10. it does not steer to bad without it, just leans a little more than normal on turns so i just try to take it slow. I did find one at salavage yard near me for 16.50
  11. it also does not have a front sway bar on it is that going to be a major issue? and it is preety squeaky on the front passenger side so i think the bushings need replaced

Hello, everybody Iam a newbie here, and i just aquired a 1995 Pathfinder SE 4x4 for $850.00 it runs pretty good and everything works....BUT sometimes at a idle the RPMs will go up and down like the engine is going to cut out. My frien who is a mechanic said it was probably the IDLE AIR CONTROL he said just pull it off and clean it, my question would carberator cleaner work for that? and is it possiable for anther member on this site to post a "pic" of where it is located and offer any suggestions or insight on this problem. Thank you very much in advance for any advice.
