So what's going on with this part of the forum? It's completely fallen apart this year so far. No one has been declared winners for the last couple months. Does no one care about TOTM anymore?

How on earth does the top rot out?
Salt!!! lol That crap turns into dust out here when the roads dry up. It get's everywhere. Need a good heavy rain to wash it all away.

Yeah after cleaning up the frame with the wire wheel it looks much better.

The good the bad and the ugly. The driver side is a mess but I'm going to repair it and use the frame as the base for my rock buggy. I've done some cleaning up with the wire wheel to really see how bad it was. It's bad but fixable.

One more quick question....does the rear light get relocated in this or does it stll mount in the same spot?

You absolutely need that cross brace unless you plan on fabricating something on your own. This is part of the mount. Also I wouldn't cut your headliner and do what you where thinking. Unless you're good at custom upholstery it's going to look terrible. Just keep an eye out for one.
PS I may have two sets for sale soon. -
You should see how I took the windows out lol. Just cut the metal around them because I didn't want to mess with it until I need them.

I'm in the testing phase with a custom distributor but it might be a little while before it's ready.

I have no idea if that would fit but I doubt it. The head liner and the mount would have to fit. You might be better off building a custom one.

Oh and they don't give you much room to get to those bolts. Looks like I'll be cutting the access hole with the plasma cutter to make it easier lol.

I was thinking about saying fskc it and making a viral video for youtube and throw myself through the windshield lol. That might hurt though.

By the way this is what you're looking for and it's located on the passenger side rear quarter panel Pull the lower plastic above the wheel well and you'll see it. Mine had a sticker on it with the letter "H".

Anyone know how to pull those tail lights and have a good way to remove those last 3 pieces of glass without breaking them?

This is a bit of a problem. Was planning to use the stock fuel pickup. So now I have to cross my fingers and hope I can get a vacuum advanced distributor out of a VG30S so I can ditch the fuel injection and run full propane.

They also have mechanical fuel injection systems, don't know if they will work for this application?
Maybe if I was planning on doing some wide open throttle type wheeling lol. Those systems aren't made to work in a 4 wheeling setup or even a city street driving setup. They're designed for race cars that are on the gas hard when it's time to push the gas peddle. That's why it's not common to see these in old school hot rods. Those that have them are doing it for show or actually race the car.
Really cool system though. And they look bad ass lol. This is what you'll find on just about every sprint car. The only exception would be the limited budget sprint car classes that run carbs and lower dollar engines.

The reason I said that is because from what I've seen the "Solid Axle Swaps, Hardcore Custom Fab" Is more for individual stuff e.g. solid axles swaps, engine swaps barwork etc. All of this I'm sure your thread will have but because this is all in one thread that is usually where stuff like this goes into the members rides section. Topics in the members rides section also contain some smaller misc mods e.g. cupholders, guage installs, body lifts etc. What I'm trying to say is that topics in the "Solid Axle Swaps, Hardcore Custom Fab" are usually specific to a couple of mods, but when you're doing a whole vehicle or even two if you're including your 91 SE the topic becomes more "general" and not so mod specific. As for photo sharing sites the reason I said that is because I've noticed that allot of Tungstens posts as well as some of Nefariouses posts have dead photo links in them that all go back to facebook. If you have had no problems with facebook and problems with photo sharing sites and want to stay with facebook then that's fine but I was just saying that based on other members experiences.I'll let the mods police me on whether or not this thread should be here. However I will call BS though just because we have another very popular build thread in this section that many of us are following. It covers everything he's doing to his rig not just one thing. So....
As far as facebook issues. I have an idea of why this is a problem. More and more people are blocking their facebook content for what I think are crazy reasons. This includes the photos they linked to. Once those photos are blocked so that only friend's can see them you have a problem. Most of mine are posted on my business page on facebook and I don't block any of that content. Hell I don't block any of the content on my personal page ether. So no problems on my end unless I forgot and deleted a photo. I do have my own personal server but that takes way to much time and I'd rather not.

Why would this go in the member ride's forum? I'm not just showing this off. This is a build for both of my trucks. This one is going to be turned into a rock crawler. This is the whole process. Is that not hardcore enough for you? Also I've been using facebook to link photos for years and haven't had a problem unless I deleted them from facebook. I've seen more problems with photo sharing websites not loading for various different reasons.

More parts removed. Didn't get as much done as I had hoped. My shop is cold as hell right now. If this wasn't in the way I would put my wood stove back in.

No other mods are willing to help you? Maybe we need some new mods to step up to the plate and help you out. You're the most active and I completely understand life get's in the way.
