  1. I just drove to Colorado over Christmas. I have 31" tires on my SE and it's off a 10th of a mile according to the mile marker. 1 mile according to the mile markers is 9/10s of a mile on my odometer. According to my gauges I get about 14mpg. Haven't bothered to figure out what it really is now that I know my odometer is off. Ether way it's way lower than I'd like. Need to figure something out. Might be due to the 222,000 miles I have on the engine. But then again I have a feeling something is still not right that can be fixed.
  2. I don't think you're going to find to many tire option in the 33x10.5 If you're going to run that size I'd go with the BFG AT KO unless mud driving is more important than snow driving.
  3. Just wanted to pass on some info. I know with the new laws it's been hard to find the all metal military fuel cans in good shape. I found some brand new 5gal/20L Nato style fuel cans here in AZ. Everything even the cap is metal. The cap in my opinion is way better than the screw on type that most of us are use to. These clamp on and have a locking pin that keep them from opening on their own. The pour spout is an extra $8 but it's well worth it. It also clamps on so you don't have to worry about spills. I got the cans for $46.50 each. Here is there website. http://www.us-militarysurplus.com Here is what the cans look like. I don't think they sell them on their website. They had at least 10-15 more of these on the floor. They might have more but I'm not sure.
  4. Don't look like they sell that tire anymore
  5. We don't have safety inspection here in AZ. So what type of tire was the 33?
  6. Yes I know they are 16.5 and tires are extremely limited. I still want to know if anyone has run these on their Pathy. Do you guys know of any smaller Mud tires that will fit these wheels. I foresee a ton of cutting to get these to fit even after a sas. Am I wrong? I'm asking because it looks like I may stay in AZ for another two years for work. If so I'll be looking to SAS my Pathy during that time. I want the H1 beadlocks but the tire size is what I'm worried about. Here is what I wanted to buy http://www.trailworthyfab.com/224-12-Bolt-Hummer-Wheel-Special-w-Tires.html So?????
  7. This is what I bought. No need to cut into the wiring at all. It plugs in to the tail light harness. Couldn't ask for an easier install. http://www.etrailer.com/t1-1991_Nissan_Pathfinder.htm
  8. I just picked up an NGK today from Napa. I was going to put it in today but it started raining. $71 is a great price. I just hope I don't regret spending so little lol. Ether way I'll have a replacement once I send back the Bosh.
  9. Not sure how to do it but there is. I believe you have to heat it up to test it.
  10. That sucks. I'll end out having to buy a 2nd one because I got mine through the net and they want me to send the old one back before they will replace it with a new one. No store credits. That kind of pisses me off by I guess I'll have a spare.
  11. What did you replace it with? The one I have now is a "Bosch Premium Oxygen Sensor". I thought that's what everyone recommended on here?
  12. So now I'm pulling a code 33. Unless I'm mistaken that's my O2 sensor. It's maybe 6 months old though. I checked the wires to see if maybe they were fskced up but everything looked good. Is there anything else that could be causing this code to come up?
  13. What B said. Buy the Yokohama Geolander A/T-S and you'll be really happy with them. Great tire for a really good price. I honestly don't think you can beat them at that price point. Check tire rack for the best price before you order locally. I've wheeled with them and use them for my day to day city driving and I love them.
  14. Well then maybe there is something wrong. I did a test run with an empty 5x8 enclosed trailer (single axle) and it did fine on flat roads. On any type of hill it was bad enough for me to worry about towing it with it loaded down. Anyone in Phoenix willing to let me take their ride for a spin to see if it's got more power than mine?
  15. By the way my headers don't have any type of blockage at all. I've looked inside of them.
  16. Part of what issue? I didn't know I had an "issue"... I thought all of us stock VG30 pathy owners had a truck with no balls?
  17. I'm not going to pull the whole engine. If I ever have to I'll most likely do the chevy swap. I'm looking for reasonable. Power gains for the amount of time and money I'll be putting into it. That's why I'm asking about the cams.
  18. Will that work and does an EX have a lower hi gear?
  19. Here is the Cat I have. http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product__16120076-P_145_R|GRPEXHAAMS____ Here is the Muffler I have. My linkhttp://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product__20291344-P_N3333C_P|GRP2023P____ And I have Pacesetter headers. The rest of the pipe is stock. I have a few video posted on my youtube channel that will give you an idea of how it sounds in action. http://www.youtube.com/UvisionMedia Hope that helps you.
  20. Does anyone have these cams in their ride? If so how much did it help power wise? Do you think it was worth the money? I need more power. That's it plane and simple. I'm looking for the most bang for my buck. I don't like how hard my truck has to work to tow my trailer. Even empty it struggles on any type of hill. Here is what I've done so far: headers, hi-flow cat, 2 chamber muffler, K&N filter, I made by breather box look like swiss cheese with a 2 inch hold saw, made sure my alignment was right on point, and all basic maintenance items have been replaced (fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap, rotor). Outside of new cams and getting the computer rebuilt I don't know what else to do. Help!!!!!
  21. I'm wanting to lower the 2WD for towing.
  22. So wait I can get some Nisimo #2 cams out of a stock VG34 engine. Will they work in my VG30? Sorry I don't know the difference between all the engines you just listed. I just know I want new cams and read the Nisimo #2 cams is what I want for my pathy. Any idea where I can buy them for my VG30? Sorry for jacking the thread.
  23. Can you just change the gearing in your transfer case rather than having to change the gears in both the front and rear dif? And do they offer new speedometer gears to correct it for lower gearing? What is a good lower gear setup that would still work fine on the highway?
