  1. I didnt have any trouble with mine...other than trying to get them out of the cap when i removed them.
  2. Uploaded with ImageShack.us You can see the cap im referring to sitting on the cab there. By wo0densp0on at 2012-03-12 thats the best picture i have of it back in place.
  3. My rack has some factory plastic pieces that slide in and had 1 screw to hold em in place. You may can find some at a junk yard.
  4. Ive always just went to the parts store and gotten plugs/wires dist cap/rotor oil/filter air filter. Cant say Ive ever changed the cabin filter. Im thinkin $180 bucks sounds expensive. I replaced most all of those parts in the last couple months but cant remember exactly what it cost me. Just check your local parts store on what it would run you to get those parts. Doesnt say what rotor/cap or what brand filters they are, but the NGK plugs and wires are what I have used in several vehicles over the years. Not sayin theyre the best just what I usually use.
  5. The first 4 bolts were quite easy to break loose, but the one on the back of the plenum not so much. I ended up pulling the hood to get a drill in there to it. As soon as I knocked the head off of the bolt i was able to turn it out by hand. Not sure if someone has messed with it before and just over torqued it or what. I Also have a sensor that has both of the wires gone from it on the passenger side I have no clue what it is. My pathy was sitting in someones yard for a while before I got it and some rodents had just started to do a makeover on the wiring harness. I will try to get a pic up on here when i get home so maybe one of you guys can tell me what it is.
  6. So this weekend I cracked into the pathy to begin replacing valve cover gaskets. The 5th bolt on the intake was so tight i broke an allen wrench trying to get it lose. Had to drill it out. Then finally got those 2874389 hoses loose and pulled the intake. Upon removing the valve covers most all of the bolts were lose. But the real leak was found soon. By wo0densp0on at 2012-05-14 In about 5 places my gasket looked like this. I can see where the highways of oil have been coming out from under the valve covers on the heads. Havent touched the passenger side yet but I figure its probably just as bad.
  7. Ha it worked! Nice job man looks good. Ready to see the finished product.
  8. Yea. You may can move em up a little not quite as much as the front. If you're scared just say so!
  9. Good thing about Arkansas...Inspectiowhat? ha! Looks good man...now what are you gonna do with the rear..
  10. I haven't done any creative cutting just yet...tho i have done a few specifically placed hammer pings. First weekend after the SFD was installed I was turning hard left and stuffed the driver front. It bent my fender well into the driver door. Pulled it back out and beat the $#!7 out of the inside bottom corner of the fender by the doors on both sides. Good ole rattle can to touch up the paint and better than new!
  11. My Skyjacker shocks had the same clunk. Just put some washers in between to fix it.
  12. All i did was the wiring harness as Devionwalk suggested. Took no time to install. I have no intention of adding any aftermarket speakers/subs tho. Mine sounds good to me! Personal preference I suppose.
  13. Yea from the tuck pics it seems almost too much. Some "creative cutting" I believe is how you worded it would help. Tho once you get the SAS in you could also lift it a little more maybe up to about 8in or so too.
  14. I mean you're already gonna be doin the fab work...may as well do it all while you have her tore down.. And back on track I agree with Shift...lets see these snorkels being put to use!
  15. I guess so...Gonna have to go SAS and 38's just because of PA...
  16. I plan to get rid of my goofy nerf bars replace them with the RR Sliders then I will get this idea underway. Also havent finished up my front bumper yet...Will it ever end?!?
  17. I was at the Ark vs SC football game last year in Fayetteville. And will actually be in Fayetteville again this weekend when they play SC in baseball. Oh yes pathfinders...shocks... Oh hey somethin shiny!
  18. I paid 900 for one with 30k miles on it. still shifts hard into second as my first one did. Its a pain to pull.
  19. I'm thinkin about goin down to the local muffler shop and having them bend me some 3in pipe around and up the cab...shouldnt be much different on the cost. Then just have to get a rubber boot to fit and mix the MAF in. Carry it to my powdercoating guy..should look good.
  20. Genoa is about 10 miles outside of Texarkana. I've been thru harrison a few times. Actually goin up to Fayetteville next weekend to watch Ark vs SC baseball game. WPS!!! haha
  21. I'll get to lookin at it...no real reason not to do it right?
  22. I just looked at my shocks they are Skyjacker Hydro 7000 H7073s is stamped on them. If that helps. My brother got em at a garage sale for 20 bucks. haha
  23. I changed my rotor and dist. cap yesterday to see if that helps any. Took maybe 10 mins and probably has never been done. Dunno if it fixed anything yet havent noticed it tho.
  24. I put a cold-airish filter on when I removed that box from under the airbox since there was just a massive hole in the bottom of the box then. I splashed through a small hole before I covered it and soaked my filter with water killing the pathy. luckily it was just saturated the filter and not much made it into the intake. Thats what really made me want to snorkel it to begin with. And the last couple rides ive been on i have had some pretty deep water levels. Stop tempting me!!
