  2. By wo0densp0on at 2012-03-12 I took some flat headed bolts slid them into the factory rack slot and they fit quite nice. By wo0densp0on at 2012-03-12 By wo0densp0on at 2012-03-12 By wo0densp0on at 2012-03-12 The bar was built for the Rigid Industries LED lights...I cant afford those things! So I used a little angle iron to make this work out.
  3. A few weeks back I bought 8 6in lights from 4x4parts and finally got a chance to install this weekend. The lightbar I used actually was made by Rigid Industries for a Toyota FJ. A guy I work with bought the light bar but the mounting brackets wouldnt let the 10in LED lights fit. They sent him a new one and told him to keep the old. He gave it to me and with a little bit of fabrication it turned into this... By wo0densp0on at 2012-03-12 By wo0densp0on at 2012-03-12 By wo0densp0on at 2012-03-12 The FJ light bar was a little wide so I cut a section out of the middle.
  4. I just ran some wires for my lights last night and used the rubber grommet behind the intake bout mid firewall that the factory harness runs through into the dash. Ran 8 wires thru it with no problem. Used a box cutter to get a starting hole ran a wire clothes hanger from the inside out into the engine bay tied my first wire on and used it to pull the rest back thru. Im gonna try to put some pics up of my lights/bar installation soon.
  5. Alright man I appreciate it. Yea this bumper is for a TJ YJ somethin J jeep i dunno which one. Not sure when I'll get a chance to mount it up, but when i do I'll put some pics up.
  6. Move it to where? And what the heck is that under the air box?
  7. Alright so I picked up a bumper quite cheap...Figured out a few measurements got some ideas tossed em past my brother and figured out the mounting quite easy. Problem is..The factory windshield washer fluid reservoir and the whatever that is hangin from the air box would be open and exposed if I mounted it as planned. I know a few of you guys have built your own and such..what did you do with these things? My alternatives are A. make do with some brush guard thing with a wench mounted that looks half ass. B. get some metal and fab up some more armor to add to this bumper to cover these things and re-powdercoat. C. relocation? D. Sell the bumper and look for another one a little more suited for my imagination. Help me out fellas! Sincerely, The Sp0on.
  8. Yea i just noticed a clunk from my rear passenger side this past weekend crusing thru the my deer lease. Turns out either me or my brother didnt put the sleeve in the bottom shock bolt hole so the rubber has squished down allowing my shock to rock up and down causing a nasty rattle in rough terrain. At least it was somethin small!
  9. Mine has the rear hatch rattle. Bad enough when I take off from a stop or turn a curve my dome lights come on. My brother is callin my ride "Flash" heh. I shut a rubber mat from work in the hatch and fixed the prob for a little bit. The door open light on the dash also flashes. So some electrical tape may be my fix for a while.
  10. Yea thats AC Lift front coils + SFD from Krypton. The rear is a WJ 6.5in lift coil from Iron Rock Offroad I think is where I got em. I cut just the pig tail out enough to fit around the factory bump stops it sits about 1 1/2 in higher in the rear but with as much as I haul things I plan to leave it.
  11. Ah Ill try to fix that later. I've been workin on uploading these way too long. Yall can do a couple extra clicks it wont hurt ya too much!
  12. And if someone wants to get rid of all the links and just show the images have at it...im not real sure how to make it happen.

Like a good book lotsa pictures! Oh and I thank you guys for all the homework done so that I could build this ride. Edit: I tried to rotate the pictures and they show rotated on my account...not sure why they arent here..
  14. Yea Im sure I will always be finding new little tweaks and shinys for the pathy. Just wanna have my base idea done. Ill put up pics from when i first got it to my SFD build how it sits today and hopefully a few with the new wheels/tires at the end of the week. Be like a good book lotsa pictures! I still have to find a light bar idea. I looked for Silvapathys build thread for his "home depot" mounting style but haven't found it. Just more things with time...and a thin cash flow.
  15. haha yea seein as thats where it came from thats understandable! At least from where you and a couple others helped me out I did manage to complete my SFD. When I make my post Ill have before middle and end pics to post up. looks really goofy on stock wheels/tires! I wont be finished with my plans but close when i put em up.
  16. To start off I have been creepin these forums for a while and used you ladies and gents vast knowlege of the R50 pathys to my advantage. Anyways on to the introduction! I am 24 and reside down in Southwest Arkansas and my pathy is my daily driver, as well as, my hunting/fishin/everything else ride. Background: I had an '05 Pikes Peak White Nissan 350Z up until sept. of last year. I was cruising down the interstate at a law abiding 70mph (due to the fact that the day before I got a speeding ticket for 83 in a 70 ...I was on a downhill slope HA!) when I came into some bad weather. Anyone who has ever driven a Z knows that heavy rains + Z car is not a good mixture. Long story short the rear end broke loose and sent me drifting at that speed. I kept it in the road the only problem was...in the road is also where that 2ton box truck was as well. After all the crashing and smashing I walked away without a scratch thanks to the 5 star side impact crash rating of the Z. I lost a part of me that day.. After the insurance agreed it was totalled and I paid it off i came out with about 3k in my pocket. Started hunting for a ride when I came across the pathy. I wanted something black 4dr 4wd and this fit the ticket! After obtaining my brand newish Black '98 SE with a clean 175k on the odo I naturally started looking into lifting it wheels/tires etc. I got real bummed when I couldnt find anything. And then I came across a forum named NPORA. Here is where I found a large group of individuals that were very willing to help and didnt have the stereotypical "go look it up noob" kinda responses. Thanks to all you fellas hard work I now have a 98 Pathy with a 4in SFD and 2in AC coils up front 6.5in WJ lift coil modified to fit in the rear. The lift ended up being a little higher than i had expected so the 31x10.50s I had planned to use looked funny so I am currently running a set of my brothers wheels and tires 33x12.50 buckshots. 33x12.50/15 Nitto Trail Grapplers Fuel Revolver WHeels 3.75 backspace should be here middle of next week hope they fit right. I am quite proud of my lil truck. As soon as I get it to where its pretty much finished I will put some pics up in the R50 Forums. Thanks again and Thanks for help in the future!
  17. Looks good Rick! I just started my SFD this past weekend and I have the front installed waiting on some OEM parts to finish up the front. (Just some much needed maintenance) And I plan to start on installing the WJ 6.5in Coils from IRO this evening but I can see I will definitely need extended brake lines. At least you told me what shock I need to match it up! Ill get some pics up of my build as soon as I get a chance. Took me longer to get started that planned since the Canada Post was on strike...dang canadians..(no offense Shift220) haha The Krypton parts fell into place nicely!
  18. Thanks Rick. I went ahead and ordered the 6.5 hopefully it works out right. Like you said if its too much i can cut em down. I did order the KF spring mounts along with the rest. Tryin to make it a little easier on myself. Ready to get to work on it!
  19. Much appreciated fellas. I couldnt seem to find any of the 5.5 WJ coils I'll look harder! And yea as far as the name goes its my xbox live gamertag...didnt want to make a username with pathfinder mixed into it somehow..i doubt you see another Wo0denSp0on! ha!
  20. Hey Fellas I am quite new to the forums as this being my first post. I figure this question may have been asked before but I cant seem to find it. I have read all over the SFD Pinned and maybe I missed it. Anyway I have a 98 SE and ordered the KF SFD last wednesday. Lookin to get as much height as I can possibly stretch I wanted to add a set of +2 coils along with it. The front wont be too much of a problem but its getting the rear picked up that has me at a loss. From what I've read is that with just the +4 SFD and WJ +3 coils would work nicely. Aside from having custom coils made how to I get those extra 2 for the rear? Any other snags that you may foresee me to run into with the extra 2in would be greatly appreciated. This is my daily driver and will be using it come hunting season deer/duck and pullin a 17ft war eagle with the occasional weekend romp on the deer lease to see if the jeep boys are as tough as they think . Any help is much appreciated! Ill update with before and after pics as well and hopefully get to be added to the SFD list! Oh and you guys are a lot of help to the ones like me that sit in the background just read and apply your knowledge to our rides. So keep it up!
