  1. I hear you man, that totally sucks! I don't have much but, what I have I got it honest. I work my ass off too.
  2. Bad bearing maybe? Try loosening the belt and put your hand on the alternators pulley. If it wobbles you have a bad bearing. It would be hard to detect with a tight belt.
  3. I'm not that familiar with your engine (or body style for that matter) but, have you checked the coolant lines that feed your heater core? They will more than likely go through the fire wall in the area that you are describing. I just had to replace the core in my Miata and had a similar issue because I did not seat one of the hose clamps properly. You may also want to check the hoses for small cracks.
  4. In my case it was a squeeking pully sound companied with a vibration in the belts. I found out what it was by removing one belt at a time and putting my hand on the balancer itself.
  5. It just happend to my southern Pathy a couple of months ago. Went ahead and replaced the water pump and all the belts while we were in there.
  6. Replaced the drivers side fog lamp. Then took it throught the woods and then hauld the trash to the dump.
  7. Welcome to our community Van! There is absolutely NO shortage of offroad interest with our crowd. Put up some pics of your Pathy and show us a little bit of what you've done with it. We love to show off our rigs!
  8. Wish I was a little closer to you. I want one of these. p.s. The link you gave us allows us to edit your CL post!
  9. I'd trade my brush guard (lights and all) for a nice steele bumper.
  10. I kind of look at mine as a "rust proof off-road light holder".
  11. Shoot. Mine looked like a freight train ran over it with all sixty cars (and I'm just 5 hours drive from FLA).
  12. If I follow your logic this will cost me!
  13. Any brush guard is better than no brush guard ... No?
  14. $600 for just labor? Eff that!
  15. I did not know that WD-40 was not effective with loosening bolts. I have been schooled.
  16. Hell's yeah! Please ... before and after pics. You need to start your own thread in the "Members Rides" section.
  17. I would consider an older (like model year) Xterra if something awful happened to my Pathy.
  18. I have the exact set up that you are referring to. You may want to look into some camber bolts. You will want to order two sets (4 total) to help reduce the "bull dog" look. They can be found on the AC web site and will more than likely be recommended by the "other people purchased these" link. Plus, they are easy to install! If you are going to go with a larger tire you will need to do a little trimming of the inner wheel well to prevent rubbing while turning the wheel full lock while in reverse. By the "rear" are you talking about gearing? If so, mine is completely stock. If you are referring to the suspension, all I am running is the 2" AC coils and the Rancho RS5000 shocks. I did remove my sway bar in the rear to give it more flex but, this is not my daily driver. The lift (plus the sway bar removal) did make my truck feel "top heavy". It is only a problem when I try to drive the Pathy like my Miata. Oh, and welcome to our community! Please make sure to take plenty of before and after pics to share with us.
  19. How did you get that thing home with the rods bent like that?
