  1. Well with in the past 2 weeks i have been noticing that my rear doors are not shutting 100% anymore, and that my DS rear wheel is starting to sag a bit. so i crawled under my pathfinder and noticed that my frame is getting really really bad, i have actually bent the DS rear spring perch and i think that caused the body to twist ever so slightly. i know exactly how to fix it but i am just worried that i shouldnt be driving it. >_< on to the pics. my friend and I will be fixing this with in 2weeks. i am buying some 10Ga sheet metal that will be cut into strips that are 6'x 5" wide,6'x2.5" as well as a sheet that is 14"x 24" i have a bunch of old 1/4" armor plate that i was going to use but i think it would be way too thick for frame repair. I will be adding 1/4" "fishplates" to specific areas(suspension mounts, bends in the frame,etc...)
  2. i am actually going this route on my suspension: Front: New Ball joints(LLT warranty) 1" ball joint spacers Cranked torsion bars Rear: Jeep Grand Cherokee( v8 ) stock front springs w/ "pigtail" removed all in all this whole lift will cost me under $150 if i buy the springs used, if i buy new it will be just under $250 BUT i have to take care of my frame first since its getting really bad... it wasnt as bad 2 months ago, but off roading it has taken its toll already.
  3. i really need to do this before my trans goes. i have an insane amount of heat from the trans tunnel beneath the center console.
  4. it will be fine for the months that i will be running them, i eventually will be going with a 32x11.5x15
  5. RIP i recently lost a friend who was 1 year younger than Jared "Packie", its hard on the family but i think its even harder on the friends, especially if you are close with that friend, and his family.
  6. i actually need to adjust mine again i still have the little metal "caps" on the steering stops too. these wont be going on for a few weeks now though, i have to fix my rear frame its getting bad and it is starting to cause the rear doors to not open and close smoothly.
  7. i would be interested in your 2" lift if you want to buy a 3" i am looking for a mild lift at a decent price.
  8. maybe his truck was build for the California emissions laws. i know that GM did that.
  9. i would be interested in one of the 2doors but seeing that he's 2200 miles away it wouldnt be worth it. also the hardbody suspension lift is kinda usless to us unless you only use the front UCA's, torsion bars.
  10. thanks man i was just wondering how far they stuck out and the amount that they do is fine for me. i am sure i will have to watch when i turn when im at stock height seeing that i may rub on the fender. i also need to replace my PS fender since the PO hit a tree, and fubar'd it pretty bad.
  11. for the time being i will be running a set of used BFG M/T's in 31x10.5x15 then i will either get a set of treadwrights in 31x10.5x15 or a set of Yokohama's or Khumo's nunya do you have any pics with your 15x10's on? i would like to see how far they stick out.
  12. Well i got a great deal on a set of wheels with the following specs Model: Crager Nomad's Size&width: 15x10 Offset: -38 Backspace: 3.75" my pathfinder is at stock height currently but i plan on going with the 4x4parts 3" lift. i am just wondering i guess if i will have any serious rubbing at stock height? here is a few pics of them: they were/are in horible condition. i spent a total of 2.5hrs sanding the 20 or so layers of paint including latex house paint as the most recent coat of paint.Come winter here i will be having them sand blasted and powdercoated the same "grabber green". but for now they are good and the price was 100% right. price paid: $6.25/each wheel
  13. it seems like the rear is the weak points on the frame of our rigs. i know from my rear suspension back is obliterated but im going to be building new rails for mine from rear susp back like was mentioned in here already.
  14. the rockers are the worst part on the body due to the sunroof drain tubes, the frame is what im more worried about. i need to take car of it if i want my pathfinder to survive the rest of its years. the pathy isnt staying the current color, im going to rhino line from the body line down but paint the whole truck tan with Rustoleum tan.
  15. WTF is Status?

  16. my auto is still great, i need to get a external trans cooler but i love that my rig has 208k+ on it and there is no "mods" til now but that can be seen as a good or a bad thing. the whole truck is stock. had the OEM wheel bearings in it til a few days ago, i have enjoyed it so far, havent been off road with it yet as i am fixing things first that needed to be done.
  17. Thanks for the welcomes so far. and as far as the rust on the body goes im going to get 1/8" plate cut and i am going to weld it in place of my rotted rockers and the rest is surface rust in the rear. the fender is going to be replaced as well as the bumper. I know to bore out the centers of the wheels i think i will have a local wheel repair place do it they charge $40 to do it for all 4. so i will have $60 before powdercoat into the wheels. And its $80 for powdercoating so $140 for a set of wheels and then my tires are $75 used from a friend. And i'll get pictures of my Frame up. its actually not that bad i have no body mounts that are broken off, and now its just going to cost me time since i have all my 1/4" plate to do my patches with, except my rectangle tube to rebuild my DS rear frame rail behind the wheel. As far as the tint goes, they will still be able to see me and it will look 100% stock. i dont drive stupidly anymore i have only been pulled over 1 time in 3yrs
  18. Well OldslowReliable sent me to this site since there isnt much info about pathfinders on the other forum i frequent. My name is Justin, my rig is a 95 Pathfinder SE that is loaded with every option except heated seats. it currently has 208,xxx miles on it and its running great. it has a few quirks but then again its 15yrs old. i have been taking it slow on modding it due to the fact that i normally dont keep vehicles very long but the pathfinder fits me very well. Things i have done so far in the 2 months of ownership: Replaced the stock clarion CF speakers with Infinity Kappa 5x7's Replaced the ancient pioneer with a newer one Repacked the wheel bearings Replaced the P/S rear brake line(blew out on the highway) bedlined my spare tire carrier bedlined my rear bumper bedlined the rear "nissan" trim on the hatch Mounted 1 out of 4 pairs of lights(2 pair roof, 2 pair front bumper) custom sunroof trim(see pics) Plans for the truck as of now: Lift(3" i dont know what brand to go with) Custom rear bumper Pre runner front bar w/ bolt on "armor plating" New wheels(Chevy Rally's) New Tires(31x10.50x15) Safari Rack w/light mounts Dual battery setup OBA(on board air) BLS Medic kit Toolbox Light control(i am a Volunteer Fire Fighter) LED light bar Tint sunroof Tint front two windows + windshield with matching bronze tint Fix frame Engine wise it will be stockish, i will just be putting a K&N drop in, and a set of headers. i will also be mating it to a custom 2.5" exhaust with a flowmaster muffler. The interior will stay stockish, custom 4x4 selector knob, custom trim, custom switchbox(3pair of fogs,1 other pair wired to stock switch) My frame is like all other northern pathfinders and has holes in it But enough of my yapping on to the pictures
