Put on some Warn hubs first. That'll help you save some money to buy some of the fun stuff. It's probaly the only mod that you can do that will save you money.

I'm at around 318,000 kms. I just had the strut housings done under the recall so I'm hoping the rest might last a few more years.

I didn't read all 8 pages but I thought I'd tell about my Warns. They went on no problem. The originale studs worked fine. I had to double nut a few to get them...easy. I put them on about 50000 kms ago. People say 10% and up for mileage. I have never checked the numbers but at 10% after 50000kms that means 5000 kms of driving for free. Best $200 I ever spent. My opinion is anyone would be crazy not to put a set of Warns on as soon as possible. Plus all the wear and tear they save on the front drive, A few weeks ago after being in the woods and couldn't understand the noise from the front end once I hit the highway. I thought I had damaged something....no I'd just forgot to unlock the hubs. Sooo much quieter unlocked. They are the best money I've ever spent on the truck.

Thanks...it's hard sometimes to find good answers on the internet. I'm hoping to get them on tomorrow. I was going to take them to my local guy but CTC says they will do it free, just have to pay for balencing. Brockville didn't have the tires so I got them in Smithfalls yesterday. This is about the tenth time over the years I have tried to get tires at Canadian "TIRE" in Brockville and they have NEVER had what I want. Kitchenware yes but tires NO. How are they in Ottawa?

I havn't been on this site in ages but I just checked and and see I have no warning points. What do I have to do to get some. Gotta like points!

Never mind, I bought them anyway. Stock is 265/70 x 15" and from what I understand is equil to 29.6"X10.4"X15" The 31"X10.5X15" Wrangler is 30.5"X10.4"X15" but they look about 2" taller before installing on the rims. The math sounds close but they seem huge. You have to love Canada...almost $100 in tax and $25 to dispose the my old tires that I'm keeping. Tires $710...Total $829 not installed.

I was just looking at some 31X10.5X15 Wrangler Territories for a 1998 Chillkoot. Any opinions? Four for the price of three Till the 16th.
