  1. yeah dude im probably going to try that tommorow after work and also clean my MAF sensor and if that fails might try to change my TPS , but so yours is working better now?
  2. anybody have any ideas why my pathy will start then die immediately? and Do the tps go out on the TBIs a lot? this thing is kicking my butt right now and cant think of anything that would make it go out like that

  4. same problem here but my ecu is saying my coolant temp sensor is acting up have you checked your ecu for trouble codes?

  7. hey well i checked my codes and its a 44 and i believe that means no codes but when i start my pathy it fluctuates 3 times and then it dies, has anyone had the same thing happen to there car? if it was my MAF wouldnt a code be showing? i just read another topic and i think my truck is in safe mode , and do i have to put it in mode 5 to check and see if my MAF is wrong?
  8. I started up my rig last night and it started to idle wierd it went to 1100 then to like 400 a couple of times then shut off i didnt get to really look at it cause it was dark and i, at work right now but could it be a problem with my fuel injectors? something with my TBI?

  11. hey guys i have a problem i just washed and detailed my 87 pathy yesterday and i drove it about 45 miles and on my way back home my pathy started to misfire and run really rough it stalled on me at a green light then i pulled over and it didnt start back up for a bout 5 minutes and when it did it idled perfect then i started to drive it and it started to bog out and misfire really bad and it started to blow out black smoke. my spark plugs all look ashey i have no clue whats going on and i was wondering if anyone on here has had the same problem or could help me figure this out. any help would be appreciated andy
  12. my 87 was straight edge until it met me when i gave her LSD and rear disc off a 93 lol but lsd is awesome im used to open diffs but a locker would be sweet but cant afford it

  15. okay sorry master tech! why dont you go check your shop estimator you have at work and look up the labor rate for the clutch job.? and tell me that it dosent say 7.8 hours to do Im just writing what it says it may not take8 hours on a r50 but thats what the labor rate says and i probably didnt word it right in my first post but i doubt someone is just going to do the pressure plate.

  17. i looked on mitchell and it said it took 8 hours to do the pressure plate so im probably guessing it is a 10hours job but i doubt it will take 10hrs cuase my co worker is out libe mechanic and i seen him do one in like 4 hours on a 2 door

    thieves suck i seen these crack heads break into my 93 civic si jacked my deck and a back pack of clothes and a crap load of cds in a binder at a hotel in indio ca i couldnt do anything cause they had a 2 foot long screw driver and looked pretty tweaked out i got there plate number but a year later the cops called me and i wasnt driving 5 hrs to look at a picture but yeah i got a alarm in my pathy with a blue blinking light. i heard a fake alarm just the light scares off criminals
  21. oh yeah thats cool i think i get a good price on the pacer knock offs cause my dad manages a tire shop i think i paid 220 for all 4 but i think its good not sure though
