Well it is a 99.5 Pathy.... lol; no problem I love them and the rock guards make them look even better!
-
The spring in the rear that goes from your body to a lever on the rear diff which is the proportion valve to change the braking ration from more to less in the rear when towing. Mine isn't long enough, so I need to get a longer one.... I custom ordered my springs from Coilsprings.com there is a thread in here on them....

Hey I love my tail lights, they look good to me; even with the rock guards on them
-
Yup, the front is actually about 1.5" higher than the rear.... I am thinking of either putting in rear coil spacers to make up the difference or let it be and when I get a bumper put on it will weight it down.

I have 33x13.5 TSL Super Swampers for it; I still want to be able to get some good flex, I think the next set of tires will be 34's....

Ok so the whole lift kit is installed, now I just need to finish off some loose ends and the truck is back on the raod.... I am doing a brake job and need to bleed the brakes after replacing the lines, the steering linkage needs to be fabbed up and I will probably end up rotating the rack in order to get the angle not so extreme. I have Mile Marker manual hubs coming in at the end of the month, I need to build a bracket to relocate the power steering bracket off the subframe because the drop was to much for the original bracket. I had to use F350 Super Duty Rancho RS5000 which needed new bushings pressed in on one side but I got them to fit. The only problem I am having is with that big spring on the back of the rear diff is not long enough and I am trying to figure out where I can get a extended one.... Oh and I need to put my skid plate on after I paint it and do the rest of the fab work
-
No takers huh?

UPDATE* 2000 Ford F350 Shocks will work but you have to replace one of the bushings in order to get them to work because they have a metal sleeve that will not slide over our bolt... I burned mine out with a torch and hit it out with a hammer then let it cool off and a quick clean and hit with WD40 and the new bushing slid in.... Also I went with Ranch RS5000's
-
As long as it works its good, DOT.... there are alot of rigs out there who are not up to DOT standards.....
-
It does have to be welded, I would send you a new u-joint and a piece of metal to extend the old steering linklage; it would need to be cut to length and have a local mechanic shop weld it for $20.
-
I am going off of this post, it says he is using "99-04 350 2wd shocks"... that being said is it F350 or chevy shocks?
-
I just ordered some Rancho RS5000 Shocks for a 2000 F350.... Will these fit or are they to long?

I know where to get all the parts for this kit as I just put one together for myself; the problem I am running into is getting the funding to get the kit together to sell to someone else; and I do not have that ammount of cash to get it together and then sell it.... If you are really interested in a kit it will cost around $1,187+- a few bucks because I do not know exactly what the shipping would be for a whole kit like this as I had everything shipped to me idividually... I took a educated guess though and it might turn out that I can give you some money back.... Either way I can get ahold of the pieces needed to build this kit just do not have the funds to put another one together and then sell as I just got mine together and spent some good money on it... So if you want you could send me the money through paypal or a money order through the mail and I could start ordering all the parts and when I get them in send the whole package to you..... It should take about a month to get everything in and then mailed out to you; let me know

I will look into the steering linkage situation, and will update as soon as I find out.
-
I feel like its christmas, I can't wait to get this put together and go out and wheel it. I will post pics as soon as its together, and I can't wait for the skid plate!
-
So how many people would be interested and when would you have the money to get this done?
-
Finally got my SFD in this morningafter waiting about 22 days for it to go through customs and get to my door, so this weekend I am going to be busy..... I have the 4" SFD to put in along with I need to replace my passenger side cv axle, both rotors and new pads, I also need to put in new upper strut mounts on both sides because they are aqueeking and I heard it is a sign of them going out and I do not want that so I am replacing both of them; and I ordered Mile Marker manual hubs but those won't be in until the end of april because I guess they are back ordered nationally. I will keep you updated.

I am making a appointment with my fabricator to discuss making them, like I said I do not have enough money to cover the cost of these items. I am going to look into getting a exact price on everything that way I can have some exact number to throw at you, what I quoted earlier was a pretty good guestimate.... I will update as soon as I do some more research. I am just wondering how many people would be interested or if I would just be spinning my wheels, because this is alot of money if you think about it....
-
After doing some quick pricing the total would come out to be $1,150+- total for a complete SFD package and this is not including the steering u-joint and linkage/extension. It would include the SFD, rear springs, extended brake lines (there are 3; two up front and one in the rear the two front are $60 a piece and the rear is $70), Pro Comp ES 9000 shocks, and shipping. Again I could get this whole package together but I do not have the money to cover everything, I would be willing to set you up with my email and phone numbers (personal and work) and would give a copy of my Drivers License for your trust. Let me know who would be interested and for the breakdown it would be: SFD - $500 brake lines - $190 shocks - $37 springs - $278 shipping - $145+-
-
I agree with you, I can look up the prices fro everything needed and will post it here when I get it later on, It would take about a month to get everything together thought because the springs have to be made and that takes 3 weeks by itself.... If you are willing to give me the money up front I could order everythiong and get it sent out to you as soon as I get it or in a whole package so you would just have to pay one flat shipping rate. Either way I wuill look into assembling the whole kit and the cost; the only thing will be getting the steering u-joint and spacer/linkage that extends it and needs to be welded. Let me know who would be interested and we could work out a deal. Maybe more to come in the future also if I can get this put together.
-
No problem, this kit was actually meant for me but it wasn't going to be built in time so I got one off of Shift220 (which I believe is not making anymore), so I am selling this kit. All the other parts such as brake lines could be ordered locally and you wouldn't have to pay shipping and you need to order the springs anyways for this kit like I did; the only other thing is the steering extension/u-joint and you just need to get the extra u-joint and weld a piece of metal between the u-joint and stock steering bracket. There is information in this forum on how to make them and it isn't that hard.... maybe $20 of welding at a local shop.... I had to piece my kit together myself, you aren't going to find a "complete" kit anywhere and the parts aren't that hard to find.
-
The shipping would be around $50. You would just need to get rear coil spacers or custom coils along with longer shocks like from a 2000 F250, brake lines which you could get locally made for $50-70 a piece, steering linkage extension but there are sticky's in the forum to show you how to make it. The kit comes with: (four) 4" SFD brackets (two) 4" motor mount spacers (two) 4" strut spacers (one) panhard bar drop bracket All are Tig welded
-
My friend here in NH owns and operates a machine/welding/fab shop and he put together a reinforced version of the SFD that is 4"... It has the SFD brackets that he reinforced, strut spacers, motor mount spacers, and a panhard bar drop that I am selling fro him; PM me for a price and estimate on shipping. Note this is not a complete package but the brackets and main core pieces.
