  1. When I pick them up on Monday, I'll be sure to take some pics. Maybe even get them on the Pathy right afterwards. I'll have to email Jim and mail him some too.
  2. What a retard! Nice email. They should be having pics of the H2's..I can think of plenty of suv's that get worse gas mileage then us.
  3. Ok guys...just got back from the shop. PLACED the order. This is how its going to be. Since there was not enough interest in the printed sticker, I had them just do the same design as you see below, but on cut vinyl. It will be all white or all black. You can choose. $4 each + $2 shipping. They will be 12"x4". Everyone happy now? I'll be picking them up on Monday.
  4. Hey BigBikeMike, I just got those same #'s pulled about 2 weeks ago. Usually for me it just turns off after a few days.
  5. But uhh, back to the lecture at hand Perfection is perfected, so I'ma let em understand from a young G's perspective... LOL, I'm only led to believe that the removal of the airdam increased gas mileage by like 1 mpg..maybe 2 but I've read from a couple of people on AC who've reported those numbers. Bah I don't feel like hunting them down...lol.
  6. The one that you've seen thats just black and white, non-blocky font is the die cut/vinyl. Die-cut/vinyl is this...
  7. What about some sort of Thule/yakima fairing?
  8. Ok, everyone I want to see who wants stickers and how many. PM me. There were 16 individual people who posted in this thread expressing interest. So i'm thinking we're at around 32... But so far I've gotten PM from Vengeful, headpeace, and 88. I just wanna go in tomorrow with a good idea of some quantity #'s.
  9. Fair enough. Point taken. I will find out tomorrow when I go in...I don't see why not...the minimums shouldn't apply to any particular color IMO.
  10. Ok, to clear up any confusion...the die cuts will not look like the printed decals. Look at the attachment. The die cuts will look like that...that font but bolder and the Nissan Pathfinder Off Road assoc.... on top. Yeah I know..I figured I'd just ask for an extra dollar for shipping and an extra dollar for the paypal cut. I don't think thats asking too much.
  11. Yeah, I'm sure Vengeful will take the $50 via paypal.
  12. The printed one will be the one right above your post^^^^^^^^^^ but no tire.
  13. Yeah I tried that...the gap between the rail on the roof to the new 02 rail(with pathfinder written on it) is like seriously only like a couple of inches...I tried to put my OEM crossbars in that gap but it doesn't work. The crossbars have an "upward" curve to them . I've tried. I mean if I was desperate then I remove those gray '02 rails which are connected to the black end mounts by an allen screw and leave the four mounts. And then put the OEM crossbars. If you can picture what I'm trying to say, then you'd agree...I'm not THAT desperate.
  14. Ok great news!!!! Just got word from the guy. Everythings a go! The printed sticker is doable. It'll only cost you $6, thats 12"x4". The other one thats die cut vinyl will be only $3! Now I'm excited! Also I asked about windshield decals and for 7.5" x 34.5" they can do also. Thats a little more, $20. But all these have minimums...at least 50 for the printed decals, and 9 for the windshield decals. Originally he said 100 minimum for the die cuts but I imagine that can be decreased since we're already going to order other ones as well. Sooooo, at this point, I will take PMs from people who are definitely going to buy some. Just let me know how many. I think Paypal would be the best way to go with this. I will be going there on Saturday morning to FINALIZE the order. And by the way...this is the final design.
  15. Well if you wanted to go that route, you'd couldn't use rail sliders since I have the gray tubes running right above the rails...only like 2 inches above... I believe they make ones that clamp onto the gray tubes and the poles run through them but I don't want to go that route...I'd need to buy all that. The airdamn is cool but it does eat up gas mileage.
  16. Yeah...the only way would involve cutting, which I would stay away from...Plus the mounting places don't line up with the Pathy and you'd have to figure out a way to mount the middle bracket somewhere and work around the side rails... Not worth all that...its funny because I got the rack from lkq for $50 and on ebay the last one sold for close to $200... I just want to get the crossbars so I can mount my yakima ski rack on top.
  17. Well there you have it!!! A great example why its so great that forums like this exist!
  18. LOL...no..i just commented on that... http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=5385
  19. Yeah LKQ is cool...thats where I got the rack from and also my draw tite hitch for $50. Yeah 98silverpath, I dont know if you get what I'm saying. An x rack isn't going to fit on the R50...see the roof line of the X... Between the driver and rear seats, the roofline dips up and the mounting points of the rack totally reflect it... Whereas the r50's...our roofs are a straight line and so are the racks...
  20. Well, the X roof rack mimics the roofline which on our Pathys is completely different. There's that angle/break...kinda like this ______/ know what i mean? The rear part bolts on higher up than the front half. Unless you were to hack it up but that would just compromise the integrity of it. Thats why I switched my stock rack to the 02+ SE rack. Just like the look better but I have not been able to find crossbars. Haven't been looking THAT hard but I figured I'd give it a try. I remember running into a place online that sold them for $48. If I can only remember the place or part #... how much work & $$ was it to switch up the roof rack? A pathy owner on the Xterra board was asking about that type, I told him to join up here & ask... but I havent seen him here... It wasn't hard at all. I got lucky when I decided to do it, there were a couple of auctions on ebay for them. So I sniped it for $50 for everything minus the crossbars and the airdam. Anyways, for those with regular racks, there are 4 endcaps, that you need to remove, and place the ends for the newer rack in place with some longer bolts. Not really hard at all but just one warning.... You still keep your original rails...you just place the gray ones over them...well make sure you don't remove any bolts in the original rails or else the washer/nut will fall down below between your roof and the inside liner of your car... Here's my original post about it. If you're interested here's a couple of more links to threads about it. Roof Rack swap Roof rack tip
  21. They have an internal coil...its been much discussed on the AC board. A quick search on their board will yield lots of results...like this one.
  22. Yeah, I know the X's crossbars are totally different...I've looked into it. Well, the X roof rack mimics the roofline which on our Pathys is completely different. 23. Ok, well still waiting to hear back from the guy after I reminded him of my last email a week ago. This is kind of a slow process but I'm trying to get it right. Anyways, I updated my most recent posted copy of the logo to reflect: Nissan Pathfinders Off Road Association NPORA WWW.NISSANPATHFINDERS.COM. like 88 had suggested. Good idea...I also messed with derogate's design and got rid of the tire. I'll find out tomorrow or the next, the possibility of that sticker being created.
