  1. Had a pretty productive weekend. Got my front driveshaft built and new u joints installed. Also installed new u joints in my front axles and put my new timing belt on. I'm pretty sure that driveshaft is going to bind when the driver side droops down. Probably gonna have to do a high angle or some kind of 1310/1330 conversion.
  2. Thats a good start! You gonna run leafs or link it?
  3. Got my Spicer flange in for my front driveshaft. Today i got my buddy at work to buzz me out an adapter for it. Came out pretty sweet.
  4. Its definately not going anywhere. Its taking me a little longer to get her done, but thats life!
  5. Finally got some time to work on the ole girl. Got my exhaust done. I could never hook up with my exhaust guy so i did it myself. I ended up snapping a stud on my manifold flange and had to take my manifold off to get it out. In the process of removing the manifold, i snapped off one stud in the head. I felt lucky to have only snapped one. I got an extractor set from autozone and backed it right out. Hopefully i can get some work done on it over the christmas holidays. It isn't running very well at the moment. It is running rich and the idle is bouncing up and down.
  6. Finally got some free time to work on the pathy. I installed new balljoints and some different rear shackles. Then i got my wife's cousin to get his tractor out and do some flex testing to check clearances. I think it did quite well!
  7. Thanks man! You have a nice build also. I havn't flexed it out to get any measurements yet. I havn't had much time lately to work on it. I still have to get my exhaust done so i can actually drive it around and see how its gona handle. From what i have read, it is important to have the panhard and steering link angles as close as possible. Mine worked out pretty good. They are not dead even but they are close. I have done a little research on a drop pitman, but im not to worried about it yet. Once i get everything done and can get some street and trail time on it, ill see how it goes from there.
  8. Haven't had much time to work on her. Had to get on the honey-do list and keep the wife happy. I did get my front gears, install kit, new carrier, ball joints, warn locking hubs, and a few other parts ordered.
  9. Yea it's power. Thanks for the offer buddy. I will have the 3rd one tomorrow. If it is junk I will take you up on that!
  10. Thanks man! I need to get it to the exhaust shop but it has been raining for the last 2 weeks off and on around here and ive been waiting on my 3rd passenger side window regulator so i can put the glass back in. I ordered one off ebay and it was wrong, the second was broke, now waiting on the third.
  11. I re torqued everything last night and set my toe to about 1/16 toe in. It looks right now. I know when i first assembled everything back together, i did not torque the preload bushing. And i probably spun it from its original position. Guess that was my problem. I still might swing by the alignment shop and get some numbers on everything.
  12. That's my boys old ride. He has a John Deere gator now that he calls his little pathfinder!
  13. Did some more research on the camber last night. Put it on jackstands at ride height and put an angle finder on the rotors. Doesnt make alot of since now. Axle is level and both sides are pretty much dead nuts on. Here are a few pics.
  14. 188K on my 88. Still running like a champ!
  15. I was pretty sure they were square when i welded them back on. Im sure it would be easy for one to get off square though. According to an angle finder on the hub, it is about 1 degree negative. Would an adjustable ball joint or spindle shim be better to use?
