  1. Thanks, I will check those things out.
  2. Full lock means that the wheels are turned fully in one direction. I was simply looking for ideas of other potential problems before I begin to diagnose anything. Thank you for your sincere input, it was most helpful.
  3. I have developed a clunk under the front end when at full lock, either direction, in reverse. I think it is probably loose tie rod ends, but I wanted to get some input before replacing them. What are your thoughts?
  4. Thank You!!!!! I was going to do this in the coming weeks, before a long road trip in June. You saved me a lot of time.
  5. Probably not, it should still clip back in when you put it back together. Just make sure to line the plastic posts up carefully, when you clip them in, those things are pretty fragile.
  6. The black plastic pieces at the front corners of the roof rack have to be removed in order to get to the screws that hold the wind deflector on. You will need to use a screwdriver to pop those pieces off.
  7. If you remove the wind deflector, I bet you will see that the plastic has pulled away from the metal support that runs across the middle. I used some Gorilla Glue and C-clamps and got everything to line back up just fine, really easy fix.
  8. I think I might be able to work something out. I have an '02 bumper sitting at my house. Send me a pm marcel.
  9. I am ready to buy as well, let me know.
  10. Manuals with the 4:3 do have lsd's, at least my 2002 does.
  11. I did the same thing, thinking it was a loose belt, but now I know. Thanks!
  12. I did the same thing yesterday, took me a little while to figure that out too.
  13. No problems here, I have had the K&N intake for over 10,000 miles. The airbox is never really "sealed" anyway.
  14. 70,000 miles on an 02 and no problems to date.
  15. by the way, the ARB is for 99.5-2004.
  16. ARB still makes bumpers for the R50, but TJM does not. You can get an ARB through almost any ARB dealer. Here is the cheapest price I have found on the ARB. ARB Bumper I just printed that out, and 4wheel parts matched it.
  17. bad idea, you will not need a spacer with the prado lift.
  18. the 02 has the changer in the head unit, not like the 01.
  19. That is the magnaflow setup I have, and I couldn't be happier. I agree that any shorter than 18in and you would hear too much in the cabin.
  20. Thanks herm, everything is connected correctly, according to three other people. I can't seem to figure it out, but I can live without CC as well.
  21. No, everything except for the cruise seems to be fine. The spacer I left out was the one between the valve cover and the new saddle bracket. Thanks for all the input, but I don't know what else to try. I may have to bring it to a shop.
  22. Here are the instructions I used, and yes I followed them very close. The only thing I was not able to do was use a spacer when attaching the saddle bracket, the screw provided was not long enough. I can't imagine it would cause this kind of trouble. K&N Install Instructions
