Nothing personal, but how about working on something that people want that hasn't been done yet? Jackson Autosport sells these things for about $50CDN shipped which is a pretty fair price. You're stepping on the toes of one of the few companies that decided to actually try to make aftermarket parts for the R50.

I have the same issue. I'm guessing it's a dead pump if it's like mine...the rear one works. How hard to replace?
-
Anyone know where I can get a new set (online) for cheap...or a good price at least. My '96 manifolds are surely shot.

R50 Leveling Spacers - First set is free...

Leave it...sure. As for stock suspension...it has KYB struts up front. Everthing else is from 1996. LOL! -

I'm in Covina. They can use mine. It's in dire need of some leveling. -
Hub on Titans is 78mm. On my 96 R50, the hub is about 110mm...so yeah some opening up would be needed. Plus, the 17" "Offroad" wheels have some crazy backspacing...like 7+ inches IIRC. I have a 2004 Titan and never had thought for a second the wheels would fit on my R50 even though the bolt pattern is the same.
-
Anyone know the length of the bolts. It's almost $40 for a set from AC when I could get some elsewhere for about $15.
-
I think if they did fit, you'd have to fab up a set of new cats since the stock cats come in right where the stock manifold ends. I wish someone knew though because I know for a fact I have a cracked manifold and if there are other reasonably priced options besides stock, I'd consider it.

Nice find. Thank you. Just drove over to the local stealership and they said $60. Whatever! I asked for the part number so I can search for it cheaper online and the guy was pretty hesitant to give it to me. Geez!
-
Tried searching the web but couldn't find a part number for a kit. Do I need to buy the parts individually?
-
Welp, went outside this morning to go to work and was greeted to a pool of brake fluid under the left from wheel. Did a quick check and no signs of leaking from the bleed screw or the where the brake line connects. I'm guessing (didn't have time to fully diagnose) piston seals are shot!? New caliper or is there a piston seal kit available? How can this happen so quickly, overnight?

Why does everyone always suggest the AC springs over the OME springs? Are the AC ones better? They're surely more expensive. I'm all about spending as little as I have to on my R50.
-
Are the AC bushing better than stock?
-
Mass Air Flow sensor. It's on the intake right after the filter...I believe.
-
Look really good. How's the ride? Starting to second guess my decision to sell the spacers.
-
Actually, headers are pretty rare $$$ for R50s. I believe the dyno gains (posted here a while back) were so small that they're not even worth it unless you plan on bigger and better mods to acompany them.
-
The Pathy was given to me. It's becoming a major restoration project. Compared to my other ride, I'm saving tons.

How much should I expect to pay to replace a driver's side exhaust manifold? I've been living with it for a while but now the sound is just getting irritating and I can sort of feel a loss of power and gas mileage seems to be suffering. I know the dealership will charge an arm and a leg but if they break a stud, would they repair it free? Damn Pathy was supposed to be saving me money...
-
Since they're about $140 each, I would just do the necessary ones...if you're going to do the work yourself that is.
-
Yeah, I hate the way it's labeled...BEARING STRUT-MOUNTING. Strange. Anyway, try going here and clicking on the part. It's actually kinda nice to just click on the picture rather than trying to figure out whether their description make sense or not.
-
$29 - Courtesy Parts usually has really good pricing and the parts mgr my local Nissan dealership will always match their prices (and most online prices in general). *Edit - Actually nissanparts.org has them for $26 each. Not too bad if you can get your local Nissan dealership to match.

I just installed new KYBs front and rear. Rides much, much better. Before that, it was the stockers from 1996 (160K+ miles on them). I like the ride now. The rear is a bit firm and I just don't want it to get too much firmer if I get lift springs.
-
Anyone running these? Can't decide between the med or the HD ones. My pathy is 2WD and hardly ever sees the dirt. How rough will the ride be with the HD springs for regular city\street driving?

Got my grill guard on...pics of the wiring/install

You could drill a hole in the plate and use a rubber grommet or seal with some silicon. I'm running some 4AWG power wire thru that same plate with a firewall bushing. -
Anyone ever take the fabric off the seats? Just wondering how hard it is to get off and back on. I've developed a rip in the driver's side seat. It's just the seam that's come apart so some of my mad sewing machine skillz should be able to repair it. I just don't know how hard it is to get the fabric off and back on...or if I should just take it to an upholstery place. Thanks
