Nice work man! I know a few people that have done similar setups and they worked out nicely. I will be doing the same thing later this month hopefully and will share my results as well if you like!

Man... I am so freaking floored by this build. It's beyond awesome in so many ways, but I can't express how much I have heard from people that this couldn't happen, no way no how. Mainly because the heads wouldn't clear the inner fender. Dammit. After my AAN 4kq is done I know what i am doing next. Nice work man!

Personally ... and this is just me sayin, if I ever go away from an N/A VG it's going to be a VG33 with a Vortech supercharger. "Easy" upgrade and should render the Pappy hill worthy.

I did this with my Audi 4000 and liked it very much! Pappy is up next! That retrofit site is awesome!

Thanks for the compliments guys, but it really is a POS hahaha! I threw it together in an afternoon using some poop pipe and scrap I had layin around. It has served it's purpose, held up to the high lift more than once xD. But it is tweeked a little. It is about 1" lower on the drivers side than the passenger side and it drives me nuts. Plus it was was my first bumper I've ever built so I think I can improve my design a lot! Maybe somthing that will hold a winch... hmmm... This one will be headed to the scrapper when I'm done haha. Inless someone comes and takes it off my hands. Lets see some more bumpers!!!

SO what I was hoping, is you guys could post up photos of your home made or after market front bumpers. I am trying to figure out the kind of design I want to go with. Welp, just picked this up for 400 bucks ... as if I needed another project aside from the Audi and the Pathfinder The Jetta now be doing DD duties instead of the Pathfinder for a long time! Didn't run when I picked it up. Got that all sorted out and now I am sporting 35mpgs of 8v goodness!

OH ya and if you get super excited throw in Q45 pistons and make it a 3.4 liter. Then you'd be havin some fun!

Just a thought, but you could always go with the 3.3 liter supercharger off of a newer fronty/xterra VG.

That is freakin sweet man! There is a yellow 70's CVCC down the road from me for 300 bucks. It also is an automatic.

Just kind of wondering what everyone else has for "hobby" projects around here. Personally I have 1985 Audi 4000S Quattro that is undergoing a major engine swappage to an AAN 20vt 5cyl turbo. Going to be a big kick in the butt when it's all said and done. What do you guys have?

I love the pathy with the X rack. I just recentlly installed mine... I will have to post up an update. It's been like over a year sense I did...

Having calmini stuff (UCA, Brace and diff skid), I have found their quality is not the best. I had to bore out the holes a tad on my brace to get it to work on my pathy. Good luck with getting it replaced!

I had mine cranked all the way up for 2 years. It's when you reindex them you need to be careful. Which I just did on mine, and then leveled it out.
