well here is the deal... my car budget is about 7 cents right now with college. but im hoping to make due. when i turn the steering wheel it feels hard to turn at some spot but normal in other. like if i put my hand on the top and turned the wheel it gets stiff at 2 oclock and 10 and so on but not constantly. not sure whats going on. Front disks are toast. my dad never got a break job and never told me the calipers have dug into the disks. the suspension is gone mostly the bushings are worn away.... unless you huys have any ideas other than junkyard parts...not alot of r50's in the junk yards, Im going to have to sell mine to some one looking for a project car i mean it drives but i give it 2-3 months before something goes ******... im kinda depressed if this gets junked i wont have any car unless i buy a $200 honda..... well thanks for any help you can give.. im really sad because this is really looking like the end for my pathy.... :sniff:

ive put 1/2 spacers on a 1976 ford elite (family version of the turino) it got stret tire that were 8in wide and were hiting the wheel wells. they dont cover the whole hub so you reduse the surface area of the rims stbility. fine for a pavement pounder bad for and kind of twisting or bending from off roading

so i drove through this puddle near school and turns out its full of road salt. because morton salt storage is up the street. if i were to clean the engine and hosed it down what would the best way to do this be. thanks for the help. pathfinder 97 blah blah blah

correct me if im wrong but, i just dont think wire will add horse power so dont spend 250 on them. if you have a super coil putting out 50,000 watts of power then maybe stock wires arent good but i would reccomend just a set of like duralast wires some good sparkplugs and maybe get a new rotar and cap. thats what i did and it runs 100% better than before

well i went to firestone for new tires and they seemed to do ok except they lost 2 of my lugs and when they flushed the radiator they got it all over the engine and it stunk for a week. but seriously they did a good job on the balancing and all.

if i replace my suspension what exactly would i need. shocks, struts, coils, would i need new contol arms with a lift (only 2 inches) i know i need new bushings but what eles do i need? cant seem to find a list of things needed because i cant find a kit that comes with more than shocks struts and coils. sorry to be a pain but i always have to make sure i know what i need before starting. thanks guys

Ok so ive figuerd out the fornt disks are DONE. They are really worn and the pads are worse. luckly i just had the drum replaced so that will keep me going (or stoping) until i can get the front taken care of. Also the engine light is off now it seem that the computer doesnt like when the vacum light gets plugged up. so i just left it open.

well for fog light you can buy some PIAA for like 140 or do what i did and buy the cheao 40 dollar autozone brand wich in my opinion work very well

make sure you have a semi dust free enviroment and no rain and i think it will look good

i live in Mass so im gonna bring it to a shop. i know what shop im taking it to but i need to know if im gonna need anything eles or will the steering colum be ok or will i need a new one

if i got a 3 inch lift would i need to modidy the steering collum or anything? or would it be ok suspension reccomended by firend will that work wuth my 97 becasuse none of the other kits came with contol arms or anything so im not sure any reccomendadtions

any recomendations on where to get it done because i cant do it myself

well im need new suspension mines really bad and i was thinking about gettind a 2" lift but 97 pathy's are unibody so i can only get suspension lift correct? will this make it taller or just flex more? what are recomendations i have limited cash and need to go to a mechaninc unles one of you guys is feeling like helping me wich i doubt so where should i go and what should i get

ok this just started yestarday. When i stat my car the brake light (For E-brake) stays on after 5 min or so it goes off. it startsout really loose the handle is looser then normnal but then after 5 min tightens up and the light goes off any idead why this is. and whenever i have my intake on the evap code goes on. any idea why no one eles seems to have this problem. ill post codes later

Ok, for my baking class i have to make a showpiece. we have to pretend we have been hired to make a show piece for and event or gathering and need to make a bread sculpture and a flour stencil with a theme. Does anyone mind if i Use one of the NPORA logos as my stencil i am going to do a bread design of a pathy off roading in the woods and stencil the NPORA logo onto the base. ok When i put a high flow filter on what should i do with the vacum line should i leave it in the open or block it off i just have a cone filter nothing else. please dont post saying i hate those cones because i already had one of those posts just tell me what you did with it or what you think i should do any suggestions welcome just dont say take it off its bad for you my truck is old it doesnt have to pass emmisions and its not going to be traded in just juned

the ecu make the engine rev high when its cold to prevent it from stalling i have a 97 its done that since the day it was bought new in 97

i bought a k and n for 50 bucks and it was no different than the $5 dura last one cone filters or cold air intakes add like 2 hp but give the car a nice throaty sound its all about what you like if you want ill sell you my k and n and a cleaning kit for 30 plus shipping filter was 50 barley used and cleaning kit was 20 used onece b ut research what you like first
