  1. Seems like we would have a pretty good team... The NPORA Football Team. This current tank seems like its only gonna get me something along the lines of 14.5mpg. All suburban. I'm telling you... If i could fit into a Corolla or Sentra comfortably I would buy one.
  2. Will definitely also look into the 2002-3 Altima then. This is all IF the pathy sells. As you can see I'm asking 12900. The LEAST I would take for the Pathy is 12500. Anything less than that, I keep her nice and happy.
  3. Hey all.. After too much thinking. I have decided to sell the Pathy. I'm selling it to get an 02 Camry or Accord as my primary commuting vehicle. Having the 01 Pathy as my everyday vehicle is burning a HOLE in my pockets. Specially with the need of 91 Octane Fuel. Will it sell? Who knows? I have a certain price in my mind for the Pathy and will not lower it. I will give it 90 days with the Cars.com 90 Money Back Guarantee. If it does not sell, than I will suck up the gas bills, chill and start modding it. IF IT SELLS, along with the Sedan I will be getting an OLD Pathy. Something with less than 150000. Maybe a 90 or a 91, will make this my hobby vehicle. I was looking at pricing and I can get one for like a K... Mod that baby for off roading and I have the best of both worlds. What do ya'all think? 4. My kids have the metal tonkas... Those things broke walls in my apartment in the bronx. Imagine that truck off roading? how far would it get? Would the rims bend the moment it touches dirt? LOL That looks nasty. At least I got a good laugh...
  5. It's rarely highway driving. Last tank that I got almost 15 was all city and very little over 3000rpm...
  6. That is a sick looking truck... I truly hope he gets that bad boy back.
  7. Is that combo city/highway? or mailny city, mainly highway...
  8. Yeah price of gas is readily climbing... I fueled up at 3.06 on Monday. Tire pressure I keep 32-33, and the truck is in great shape, purrrs like a kitten. I sometimes try but its hard to stay under 80. Then my highways are very mountanous so I hit 4000-4500 rpm at times going up hill on the highway maintaining 80. Love that it can do it since the accord would wimper halfway up. I'm a big guy too. 6'3" 270lbs. Maybe I should lose some weight. Let's see. I think I will continue with her, till past the summer and see how I feel. Love that 240HP, love getting off the pavement, these should be enough for me to sit back and enjoy the ride and forget about the extra expense. I guess.
  9. It's commute and driving around town... I do alot of driving here and there on the weekends. I'm getting anywhere between 240-260 miles when the light comes on. Last tank all suburban driving gave me 14.6 mpg... The 14.6 I calculate by resetting the trip odometer when I fuel up and then see how many gallons it takes when I fill up again. Divide the number of miles driven by the number of gallons put in and that's it. When it's 50/50 I get something like 16mpg... BUT I have a heavy foot in highways and also live in a mountanous region so highways have alot of ups and downs. Also, a second car is not an option (because of monetary reasons of course). I love the feel of the Pathy, and can't wait to go camping this summer on it... I was limited to where I could go in the past by my car, this year this should not be an issue. (i hope)
  10. My neighbor has a cheap one and it worked on my 01...
  11. Time to glorify your Pathy's. I'm sincerely having doubts about my purchase. I love the Pathy for all the reasons that I bought it. It's a comfortable car like ride, I can see everything which I love. I have a go anywhere mentality now and won't be limited to the pave and gravel roads. I feel secure when I drive it and many more critical things. Love taking this ATV trail the other day, nothing compared to pictures I have seen in this forum but FUN nonetheless. BUT, coming from a 4cyl Accord MT with a 25city/31highway rating to this beast is really getting to me. I knew what I was getting into when I bought her but did not think it would phase me this much. I mean, damn it's $50 a week for this hungry baby, all surbuban driving in the NorthEast. Thinking of selling her and going back to the Accord. I mean, I can afford the bill but IT HURTS. In the end, I doubt I would sell it becuase of how much I like the good qualities of it. But Damn that one bad quality with todays gas prices is making me think of taking a loss in this purchase.
  12. Yeah I tried this the other day on my 01 Pathy SE... Did on the fly and back at 45MPH... Manual says, it can be done up to 50mph and driving straight. On the fly...
  13. Yeah., its hard to tell with mine at times... I wonder how much that tow hitch and spare weigh., should not be making a difference though. Bottom-out??? I have a slight idea of what this term means but could anyone elaborate.
  14. Question., could being on a hill cause once side to look higher than the other.. . My driveway has a slight incline..
  15. Looking at my Pathy. I notice that my Pathy sags just a tad bit in the back. Take a look at the pic. Is this normal for Pathy's? Thanks...
  16. What do you mean slipping? How do you know when its slipping? In the mornings when I'm leaving my house for the day and going into the main road. I have to accelerate quickly and at one point it revs up to like 4k for like a second then comes back down with no real kick. Meaning I'm driving normal increasing my speed with my foot on the accelerator. Without pushing down the accelerator it jumps to like 4k RPM than comes right back down. Not even sure if that made sense. It only happens in the morning. No other time and not always. When it happens it happens at the same exact point in the road.
  17. Yes I do... But figure it should not be that much different to get a general idea.
  18. How many miles does your Pathy have, it's an 01 right? Mines has 69k last time I got my oil changed at one of those Lube places. They wanted me to change my coolant and t-case fluids.. I check the oil regularly and the tranny is still a nice RED. Which is good from what I know. The T Case does look very dark and coolant looks green. Unfortunately I suck at being a mechanic does anyone have pictures of how to replace the oil on the t-case and what type of oil to use for both the t-case and diff.
  19. CAn you email it to me? rmd0311@gmail.com
  20. Lucky me I got here too late to get dibs in the service manual... Will have to buy it I guess...
  21. No No... If they are there it must be for a darn good reason... I would like this to be my first solo mechanic work that's not replacing a light bulb. Hopefully will be able to do it solo...
  22. Does anyone have links to what the sway bar links look like... I want to take them off to see if this noise back there is that. It does not sounds when its normal bumps. It all sounds when its really bad. I thought it was something bouncing in the cargo area. But after reading this would like to try to take out the rear sway bar links.
