I ordered the whole axle, what special tools are needed? and what should i do while im in there?

yes, that did suck. so the tire was bouncing up and down? i didnt know the axel affected the dampening

the outer boot on the drivers side is mostly gone, i've ordered the part but it wont be here until atleast monday and then i need to install it (hopefully with some help). should i avoid driving it in the mean time? and is now a good time to put manual hubs in? and what can i do to prevent this from happening again?

update: as i was driving to work the ac worked ok for the first ~3mins and then worked intermittenly.

I was adding refrigerant to my ac and as i turned the can sideways the psi went to ~50(top of full, bottom of alert, it says 45-55 is correct charge for this ambient temp) the engine made the noise brakes make the first time theyre used after going through deep water and the engine went down (from 1k to 600,in park). when i drove it around the block it made the grinding noise intermittenly and felt like it was trying to slow the engine down, and it went down to again 600 rpm when i was backing up. the air seemed to stay cold the whole time but the noise went away and it drove normally with the a/c off. is the compressor blown?

will di-electric grease work to clean the maf sensor?

they were replaced by the dealer about 10k ago(would the fuel filter be included in the 60k service?)

one more thing, will spraying silicone on the seatbelt help it retract?

it doesnt seem to matter, today it was at a quarter of a tank and it did it with a full tank as well.

my 96 has doesnt like to turn on on hills. it will turn over but it takes 3-6 tries to start. it sort of smeels like gas once it is started and holding the gas pedal down seems to help. this just started happening maybe 2 weeks ago(when it startwed to warm up) im at sea level btw.

whats the price for a full set for a r50?
