  1. It really made a huge unbelievable difference in my handling. It completely corrected the instability I have been fighting for over a year and it took less than an hour start to finish. I got the red kit off Ebay. Here is a link to the auction. I am sure they sell them allot. They have longer sleeves on them that the original too, so it actually takes a small amount of standing tension off. The stability is back and I could not be happier.
  2. This is a great start. We have added 30 members to the map in last few days. Keep them coming. If you see people missing that you know, send them a PM reminder. It only takes a moment and its a great visual to see our numbers around the globe visually...
  3. Hey Everyone! Well, I am going through my Pathfinder one step at a time updating and refurnishing the parts and components that 185,000 miles have taken their toll on, not to mention the 16 years of driving and offroading. One issue that I have been experiencing has been a very unstable ride at highway speeds. The truck had a tendency to swerve one direction or the other if the tires caught a ridge or dip in the road and it caused many white knuckled drives, full of constant corrections and allot of stress. Since the truck is lifted, it made the issue even more apparent. First, I replaced ball joints and I could feel a slight difference, but the erratic swerving was still a factor. Today, I removed the rock guard under the engine and it revealed that one of the two main bushings was completely missing from the bracket, causing about an inch of looseness in my front end. This video shows that inspection and how a $29 sway bar bushing set restored my Pathfinder to a very stable riding rig again. I apologize in advance for camera work in this video. You have to remember that I was videoing with one hand and doing all repairs and parts handling with the other. It is not as easy as it seems. [/i]
  4. is busy working on his Pathy for the 3rd Annual MrJim Run

  5. Me too. The number is up by 10 since last night. Hopefully others will continue to see this and update their locations too.
  6. I could possibly end up in Georgia. Atleast its closer than Washington state to where you live. Nice bumper BTW
  7. I did the other ball joints in a parallel parking space on the city street near my apt in the rain. It was awesome (to be done)
  8. Thanks, I am glad it was helpful for you. I am planning on doing one from videos clips I took on the upper ball joints, and another on doing oil filter relocation when I get it done. That might be later today if I have time. Its cold and wet out there though. No garage...
  9. I meant to tell you that I did try the ATF in the mix and it didn't really seem to change anything. I tried it after you suggested it though, just forget to mention it.
  10. How did you get that old sending unit out? I have been trying to get hold of it unsuccessfully for a week now. Nothing seems to fit and its hard to any close to it.
  11. Oh, I know. Still it would be nice to get as many as possible on the map.
  12. Well, my Pathfinder has 185,000 on the odometer, but the engine and clutch were redone at 136,000. My driveline technically has 49k on it, although I have no idea what it went through in the 2 years it was out of my hands.
  13. I know. I wanted everyone to have a chance to see it. 8 people have added themselves overnight. Only another 5400 to go.

  23. Yeah, I typed that into the video title and credit screens too. I caught it afterwards and am uploading a corrected version right now. The audio part is just gonna have to stay in it. Hopefully, no one will be too confused by it.
  24. I replaced my PCV valve today and I actually had a tough time locating it. After realizing there was no good information on Google about it, I decided to make a video of it myself. Thanks to my buddy "Donnie Hill" in Georgia who helped me locate the valve. Apparently, it is the same engine as the 300z that he owned, so he was very helpful. 25. Thanks, and No, but I will add that to my list today.
