  1. Don't know if this will help but I have had that same problem when I had a Ranger....somehow a receipt had gotten sucked into the blower motor fan area, and it was making the same noise.....I know...blower not sucker.....but that's what happened.
  2. cobra 29 classic is probably the best...even upgradable....but too larg for in dash install. You can get the 25 (cobra) which is also nice, take it to a truck stop with a cb repair shop and have it tweaked and tuned, you'll be able to send and recieve alot further. Just a bit of "FYI" in case anyone ever wondered....(I used to be a trucker)

    jeep

The owner of that first Jeep might as well go ahead and add a windshield sticker saying something like WWW.4X4SAUSAGEFEST.COM. I really hope a woman owns that eyesore.
  4. I just crank the tunes up. And God forbid I go up a long hill....then I have no choice but to turn up the stereo!
  5. or mayby it's your alarm? anything is possible....i have a aftermarket remote start/alarm with no manual....(prev. owner install)when I replaced my alternator a few months back the same thing happened....but i never noticed a clicking noise. I had to get a alarm shop to reset my alarm, it wouldn't remote start or key start....only crank and crank like you said.
  6. GREAT.....more work for me...now I just have to check mine out due to curiosty.
  7. true....post some more pics that thing looked nice
  8. some more advise STAY AWAY FROM HOT OBJECTS AND OPEN FLAMES lol
  9. If I were you I would cut holes for turn signals b4 you hurculine it, or metal will show through later if you cut it. Maybe that's what you meant.
  10. get some good beer, and a couple of buddies to help!
  11. Just got new t-bar adjuster bolts, finally because of the rounded off ones that I could no longer adjust.....my uca's are in the mail....jgc springs painted, waiting patiently in my garage...hopefully within the next week I will have a wee bit of lift on the pathy....we will see.
  12. good question, it will be nice to know.

    1999 Pathy

These guys hit the nail on the head. I just saw some factory pathy foglight, cruise, and power-a/t switches on ebay last night, but dont know about a 99....they are easy to install....cordless drill, zip ties etc. Oh and you can get fog light wiring kits at autozone type part stores also. As a matter of fact Wal-mart has the wiring kit...and they are all basically same for low watt factory type lights.
  15. Sounds like me....I'm a SGT in the army.....3 kids(4 w/Pathy) and love the pathy.....welcome.
  16. You did good. I personally don't like the newer pathfinders.....too much like a mini-van...i think the X is definately the new generation of fun, I've been seeing some "stout" XTerras running around lately. how is it space wise?
  17. Don't worry, we aren't game wardens....... lol
  18. thanx for the links....hadn't seen that page.
  19. I made sure they came out of a V8. I believe everyone that they are probably the same, but I don't have the cash to "throw away" if the I6 springs didnt work....
  20. Just got some JGC coils from the JY for a total of 50 bucks....junk yards here are getting expensive due to the fact that because of insurance issues you can no longer pull the part yourself. So I actually paid for labor too. I got the springs from a 97jgc with low miles.....almost new condition. took them home, primed them and coated them fire engine red for the hell of it....uca's are on order so I'm on my way, thanx for the help guys.
  21. Hey check Ebay out....there are tons of pathy parts such as bumpers, fenders, hoods etc. although you would want to contact seller to arrange for cheapest shipping possible, we all know shipping is outrageous on Ebay.....goto ebay motors and search all day.
  22. Mine did that a while back and the cause was a bunch of leaves had gotten underneath my airfilter and sucked into the intake area which clogged the mass airflow meter....i think thats what it is called...i removed the leaves and it has run perfect ever since
  23. I love my pathy, but a diesel Landcruiser for the same price? Hmmmm.....might wanna look into that one. Thats on you....both nice options, get the land cruiser if you are going to be hitting the trails....thats only my opinion though.
