Probably have to take the plastic plate off of the top like on my grand am.....I couldnt find those either, then there they were, under that big black plate or cover, whatever you want to call it.these wierd wires and the part that slips onto the plug was way down in the engine....it was wierd....

It looks like you are in the front yard.
-
It's easy, search for re-index there are a ton of write ups on it.
-
I had the same set up....2.25 high flow cat, FM 40....it gave a ton of low end torque and rumbled like a small v-8.
-
Why even ask? It cost $90:ohno01: to fill up the 27 gallon tank........the on board computer said I was averaging 21 mpg on the hwy at 75 mph....with 6 passengers, not too bad for a tank. But it only gets 16 mpg in town. If you punch it you can pretty much watch the gas needle drop.

Nah, needed seats....although i like the titan I needed space for the kids....I guess I war looking for comfort this time. This thing runs smooth (the V8 power is cool too) and is extremely comfortable AND has a 100,000 mile warranty.

Well, upon looking at the frame, (and a few taps witha BFH), I found 6 baseball sized holes in the frame, a hole under the rear seats big enough to put your hand through, the famous "ticking" manifolds....etc....you can only do so much........ I bought her on EBAY a few years back for 4 grand. But today i traded her in for a gas guzzling beast that couldn't think of going where she went.... I got 4 grand for the trade....bought a 2006 dodge durango...I know, ugly....my thoughts too, but I have 3 kids, they are getting older and the pathy wasn't cutting it. (plus she was rotting away.) Anyway, It's actually really nice, built in serius satellite radio, leather, homelink (built in garage door opener), front/rear disk brakes, on board computer, 3 rows of seats....(seats 8)...controls on the steering wheel for the radio....6 disk cd changer, dvd player, alpine home theatre (mobile), heated seats/mirrors.....wood grain dash.....front/middle/rear A/C....tow package(W/Tranny cooler)...roof rack etc.....I miss the pathy, but she did her job while I had her.....the BIG ASS Durango ? (purchased a 100,000/60 mo warranty for $1000) It cost $17,400 b4 the warranty....(18,400) The V8 is really a beast and (i know I could have done better but not 4 this price) it averages 16mpg (so far in the city) and supposedly 17-19 hwy..... Guess it will be my weekend vehicle. I'll drive the 4cyl grand am to work, the chevy truck to haul a load, and the Durango to travel..........but I AM going to be looking for a pathy in the future for a play toy.

Like flnl said, check the top of your shocks and see if they are plugged in, or if they even have wires coming out....they work when new but the shocks cost too much for me.
-
**, weren't you going to tell him to look under the vehicle while someone bounces up and down on the rear bumper?

Piece of paper = cut and paste off of a pic on this site...(search stickers) paste to word and print and you have an example of the logo.

........I believe this is what you are referring to....I saved it to my puter a long time ago....the pics are below because they didn't work in the download, but the download below gives the description. yeah, at full turn it's prob the steer stops...I greased mine last year and haven't heard a peep out of them since.....but I figured I would post this anyway and there is a download at the bottom..(directions) axlenoise.htm

Nice....Or you could get the pathy flares and be done with it....(there are a few on ebay)

Heres an old post that should answer your questions..... For some reason the link wasn't working ( http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showto...mp;#entry184808 )so here it is below just in case. Hey everyone, my friend has a 96 pathy and it rocks back and forth real bad at any time while driving. It is so bad that the police pulled them over for it. He replaced shocks, struts...and I told him that maybe it was his sway bars. I haven't looked underneath yet, so what else should I look for? Thanx for your help once again, and he'll be joining the site soon. -------------------- post Nov 27 2006, 12:49 AM Post #2 Rear axle control arm bushings. You can either buy new polyurethane bushings and try to replace them yourself or buy whole new control arms from Nissan that have the same old craptastic OEM bushings in them....Happens all the time to R50's from 96-99. -------------------- post Nov 27 2006, 04:18 AM Post #3 I had mud (well dirt but it was mud when it got there) on the inside of my rims and threy it so off balance it was hopping wheels off the ground. It was dangerous to go over 40. I dont know if it is the same as your describing but check it out. -------------------- user posted image My cardomain page Go to the top of the pageReport Post +Quote Post MichiganAve Rating: 0 View Member Profile Add as Friend Send Message Find Member's Topics Find Member's Posts post Nov 27 2006, 09:46 AM Post #4 NPORA Fulltime Resident **** Group: Members Posts: 302 Joined: 16-March 06 Member No.: 2,060 QUOTE (4x4le @ Nov 27 2006, 01:18 AM) I had mud (well dirt but it was mud when it got there) on the inside of my rims and threy it so off balance it was hopping wheels off the ground. It was dangerous to go over 40. I dont know if it is the same as your describing but check it out. It is probably the trailing arm / control arms in the rear as 88 said. There are 5 bars that connect to your rear axle- he is referring to the upper and lower pair found on each side (the 5th bar is the panhard, there is only one). You can check them easily by giving them a good shake. If they have any play whatsoever, either change the bushings or just change the whole piece. If its a 96 and has never had them replaced, they very likely are shot. Get the wheels balanced. And make sure the alignment is in spec. -------------------- cool thanx all, ill help him check it out.

I would just try to and then you can search and find any and everything you could possibly want or need. How are we supposed to suggest a gift for you? Cmon man, but damn.

Going to first aid kit to grab the moleskins....nice thought!

Check out this post, could help, although it was an R50 issue....was the rear control arm bushings... http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showto...p;p=entry

Try uploading your pics to photobucket.... then use the link on your photobucket page that begins and ends with (copy/paste)

I took the whole Swaybar off and left the end links hanging for now, no problems at all. No it wont be hard to re connect, but some just disconnect one side for a faster disconnect option. I didn't want anything clanking or getting " caught up" so I removed it all. It's up to you, try it if you don't like it put it back. IRNABFDP!

What we are saying is just disconnect (remove) your rear sway bar.....Only a few bolts involved...Go on a couple of test drives, take it slow at first, it will lean alot more in curves. Once you get the feel of it, take it to higher speeds to see how you like it. I would not remove it unless you wheel alot, but on the same note, it is a 5 minute job either way. As for R50 or WD21.....A sway bar is a sway bar....all vehicles have them and they all serve the same purpose....to stop body roll. The disconnects are an outstanding idea and I have heard that they work great, but since it's a 5 min. job to remove the whole thing.......why bother? (save the money for better things)

Man that sucks...I hate computers....they are a rip off....we need to go back to carving stuff into stone....stones last forever. I am so glad that my father in law is at least good for something. He works for Arkansas State University (building puters for them) and he surprises me every few years with a better version.....I can't complain. Mine does what I need it to for free, so I guess I have been lucky a few times
-
X3 for me Just take turns a bit slower. :coffee!:
-
I haven't removed the front as of yet, but the rear is off...fine so far here too but haven't tried with longer shocks.....(RS5000)
-
I think so, yes.
-
I guess you are right, I do have all of the above.
