  1. Ohhh boy I'm stayin outta THIS one I already used 8 of my nine lives a few days ago!
  2. Vengeful...seriously...that was hillarious!
  3. %#$@%* that's all I have to say...I'm sure we'l be seeing them at some point! Oh yeah, a copy/paste from the recent comment board on that sight... WHOA! i woldnt mind dropin 12 G's on does!...dem jordan ones iz clean! crazzymonkey // Videos (0) | Favorites (0) | Friends (0) - (2 hours ago) I hope this guy doesn't REALLY type like that...
  4. Just did a 5 second Google search and came arcoss this http://www.npnweb.com/uploads/featureartic.../030106_mp2.asp By no means the best article but a good start at least... Pathy's are like bricks trying to move through the air...there's not a whole lot of aerodynamics built into them AT's aren't going to kill your mileage for say...unless you start increasing size and building your rig vertically
  5. "MPG's" and "Pathfinder" should never be included in the same sentance, unless your talking about how thirsty these pigs are With that in mind, be careful with what tires you install...remember bigger=higher=increase wind resistance.
  6. That outta look good on your Pathy (I would have rather had BP's skids...I really AM jealous!) Do be sure to post pics when installed
  7. Were you the one who ordered his last 10 Gauge Blue Trainman???
  8. Ah ha FORMER Navy guy (I'm a reservist now ) Welcome to the boards rmd...love the Recon vehicle! I too bought my Pathy relatively recently and want to mod it. I just don't have a ton of $$ to do it. I just ordered skids from AC (the shipping on the Blackpanther ones was killing me!) before anything else. I didn't even have a splash guard when I bought my Pathy. Next up is some new tires...BFG A/T's for a more aggressive look and better grabbage (my Bridgestone stockers are :furious: worthless offroad and in mud!) A slow but gradual modding to your truck is the way to go...gives you the ability to appreciate everything you do to it. Again, welcome! And thanks for your service
  9. Oh I just realized...that was CANADIAN driver...ooops. So that's what, like 15K less for us stateside folk?
  10. Technical Data: 2006 Nissan Xterra S Off Road Base price $33,748 Options $1,300 (Off Road Automatic Transmission incl. HDC/HAS) Freight $1,276 A/C tax $100    Price as tested $36,424 I just can't get over that. It's a nice truck, still "tries" to appeal to the younger buyer, has off road potential (albeit less than the originals) but almost 40K for an X? And what does that get you...VDC? HDC? HSA? I'd rather have a VG33 equipped one and an unlimited funds spending account On the other hand, that was a very well written review!
  11. Bungee cords and bubble gum? There's gotta be a better way I'd Check your local Lowe's/Home Depot for some inspiration.
  12. This guy looks crazy...no wonder he rolled his Fronty Was he ok? I'm guessing those aren't rock sliderz he managed to bend there! MAN those are some great pics! Keep 'em coming! I like the S/C'ed Fronty as well
  13. Rooooooooooofles I was thinking the same thing !!
  14. Exactly...nothing like putting the center of gravity in as narrow of an area as possible to dig into mud/gravel/snow.
  15. That's interesting because I was JUST wondering If that same exact tire would fit MY rim as well. I'm also interested in those tires. Funny thing is that my stockers were/are 255-65/16's. Let me know what you come up with. Or I could just follow this thread...that'd be just as good.
  16. LOL. Good point. You can call your Pathy a Mut now
  17. Welcome! I used to have a CD by (i think) Paul Simon called Tupelo Honey... What a nice Pathy! Enjoy the forums
  18. Yeah...please do tell...My old 87 SAAB (before they were GM Ecotec'ed out) was front to back top to bottom decked out Bosch everything...and SAAB's aren't exactly German automobiles
  19. Oh but that's the only reason you need right?? j/k!
  20. Sounds sketchy... That Pathy's pretty stripped as well! Nice of him to throw in an extra computer just "in case."
  21. VG's use Iridium plugs?? I didn't know that...I thought VG's/VQ's used platinum
  22. Make sure you have someone the shore snapping a few polaroids Oh yeah...VDC= -thnkboutit- Make sure you disengage it to maximize the slippage -bounce-
