  1. Yeah I'll end up doing the cig. lighter. Do I have to tap into it at the fuse box?
  2. I think he's keeping his stocker wheels...
  3. Bought a little Radio Shack CB today (had the same one years ago in my HB and it got the job done ) and I'm going to put it in the slot towards the bottom of the console, and cut out the two plastic pseudo-buttons for where the heated seat buttons would otherwise be. What's a good hot wire to use back inside the console? Should I just go ahead and remove the entire thing? If so, where's the screws? Sorry, never pulled this one apart before, appreciate the help! -Gianni
  4. Where've you been? Hanging out on those boards lately? Haven't seen you here in a while...
  5. 255/70's...end of story. Fits beautifully on our wheels and looks great. No need to go another size, trust me. Most stockers on this board who upgrade stick with those. Veng? Revo's or Revo A/T's? He's the man to talk to about those tires
  6. And people wonder why their premiums are sky-high Congrats, anyways
  7. It's perfectly attainable. Just keep your right foot out of it!
  8. Get a new gas cap? I'm guessing the gasket on yours is shot...
  9. I don't think the housing for the Q lights and Pathy's are the same size. E ither way, it's probably a lot more work than it's worth...HID's have a TON of associated hardware. You could probably bpick up a pair of aftermarket's for a cheaper price than a stealership would charge you for Nissan HID's!
  10. First and foremost, I would have taken my business elsewhere but to each his own. They've been known to do shoddy work religously. Bingo...better take advantage of that and demand those fools to make it right, including a REAL roadtest incorporating highway speeds, that's their jobs after all. Good move getting the lifetime alingment service...$60+ a shot can be expensive. Just watch 'em, make sure they do it right!
  11. Nothing wrong with over-stepping the boundaries of fire
  12. It's gonna be interesting to see how that hold up during a flex at lock. Maybe think about having a spotter keep an eye on it for you and take it slow the first time.
  13. Sexiest R50 I've seen in a while...Black looks great!
  14. Have you figured out hot to upload a photo yet? I have severe ADD when it comes to things like this, me want to see a pic!
  15. What do you charge for labor??
  16. I think that pretty much sums it up. BTW, DAYUM K9!! :o :o I am assuming that was done over a long period of time, and finally caught up with you? Or was that the result of a small fire?
  17. No kidding. Actually, this process sounds pretty easy...now just need to find a Q actuator laying around  Isn't it possible to get arms that lock so as to keep the gate steadily open when driving?
  18. I agree. They're there for a reason, leave them on. At the very minimum you should be able to make some new ones with scraps from a metal shop, and re-drill the holes where the originals are.
  19. Yeah no kidding I need to replace the arms while I'm at it...
  20. It's not a big deal, I just wish the enginerds at Nissan made a button on the outside of the trunk like there is on every other rear opening window bearing SUV on the market to open just the glass. I also wish there was a locking function of the hatch so it doesn't flap around when driving with it open.
