  1. You ever see Pittsburgh or Philadelphia?

Yeah, thugs most of em :P I lived in Philly for a while... not a pleasent place to be sure.

You know, that's the funniest aspect of it all. I always have to consider the city itself before passing judgment on the team. I've been to both places, Philly multiple times.

    Oh well.

That little vid of Harrison reminds me of a roid rage gone bad.

  2. Harrison should have been tossed out of the game after that unsportsmanlike call in the 4th...even after his amazing run.

Can't stand the Steelers, don't know squat about the Cardinals but I pulled for Arizona to spite all the Pitt. fans around me (and there are LOT'S!!)

  3. I had those same tires on my truck in the same size too. I got a lot of flack from people for spending the money on General "Crappers" (which, when I bought them were $91 each from tirerack.com) But I enjoyed them thoroughly. Great tire for the money, and I got a good 40K out of them. Never punctured, torn, nothing. They did a great job with mud resistance too, better than TA/KO equipped Pathys too.

The ONLY beef I had with them was that they would NEVER stay balanced. I'd take it in for rotation and balancing and they'd go for a few weeks. Then they'd start shaking again making it noticeable in the steering wheel. You have to keep them balanced and rotated at the required intervals.

    Enjoy, they look great!

  4. sweet it resolved itself... the wife came in here and was like if you want to keep it you can but we talked last night and i don't htink its a good idea for us to keep it right now...and i was like sweet i want a dog but im working all the time so its not fair to the dog or you who would have to keep it for me during the day...

pretty good dog though...it slept until about 10 mins ago when I got up and never made any noise all night long...

Glad to hear it ironed itself out...and he's a good sleeper too (mine sure wasn't!) It's hard to give something like that up, especially when you want one so bad. We waited 4.5 years before getting Chloe until the timing was right.

  5. Everyone in that house needs to be onboard with having a dog, if that's indeed what's decided. Or else get rid of it, and give it to someone who can raise it properly. They're not commodities. What do you mean they "found" a dog? Was it from a shelter? How do you know it "had" intestinal worms? Did you de-worm it? Do you have any records on it what so ever?

Having a dog is like having a child and from what you wrote, it sounds as if not too many people there have the slightest idea of the commitment that's required to raise one. Of course it's going to sh!t all over itself and wherever else it wants...by the looks if it I'd say 10 weeks is a generous guess. I'm all for you "saving" it within your budget...but...your budget needs to be prepared to be poured into this thing if that's what's necessary. I say again, if you can't do that, you need to give it to someone who can. My yellow lab last christmas managed to swallow half a towel and get it wrapped around her intestine. We only noticed something was wrong because she couldn't stop vomiting. Then sepsis set in (blood poisoning) because where it was wrapped began to swell badly and became infected. She ended up needing blood transfusions and major surgery, as well as a piece of her large intestine removed. This was over Christmas keep in mind while we were suppossed to be traveling to see family in Connecticut. All in all set us back over $6000.00 dollars to the only 24 hour emergency clinic in the area (our vet was closed) That was a very hard setback for us financially, but luckily we had it and didn't have to go in debt for it. We now carry insurance for her, but at the time we didn't. I mean, who would ever think something like that could happen? You need to think long and hard about your budget and be prepared, if necessary, to drain it.

Sorry this came off as harsh man. I am completely all for dogs going to good homes and if that dog you have was a rescue or stray, more power too you. I volunteer in a shelter though and see the worst of the worst people come in with returned dogs on a daily basis for the absolute LAMEST reasons. There's some people in this world that shouldn't have the right to raise anything else that's living, much less raise a dog. This is why I say, they are not commodities. It's not easy, it's expensive, it's frustrating and tiring. That's why I cannot emphasize enough...if you are not 100% on board, as is EVERYONE else in that house you're living in, you need to get rid of the dog and give it to someone that who can give it the attention and training it's going to require.

On the other hand, he's a good looking boy! He looks like a pit pix, is that right? Looks like he's gonna be a big one!

  6. Yes it does....so I guess you can get out your hoola-hoops and pom-poms and do your little happy-homo-dance :jig: ....after that, you can celebrate over some Shirley Temples, watch re-runs of Flipper and maybe look into the remedial version of Hooked-on-Phonics to help you out with that grade 3 grammar thing you seem to be struggling with.....best of luck! :aok:

    :lol::chairfall:

Oh man I needed to read a post like that after the day I had!!

    IB4TL!!!!!

  7. Anyone tried eliminating the rear muffler and running a pipe off the mid muffler and out the back? How does it sound?

Yeah I had that for quite awhile when the rear section fell off because it was so rusted on a wheeling trip...I had nothing from right in front of the rear axle back. To be honest, it didn't at all sound different. If it were going to sound any different, the resonator would have needed to come off as well...see pic...this is what came off.

  8. I'm pretty sure that only the VQ engines mated to the automatic trannys have the power valves. MTs didnt come with them from what ive seen. So far, dont quote me on this. But you can check really easy if you have them or not. Just look for the actuator under the upper intake plenum.

You're right. I think this was realized by Bowtied in the pinned topic related to VQ engine damage. According to the FSM, there are none shown on the AT's.
