  1. gonna do that along with checkin price with nissan, last time i hit the junkyards every nissan pathy i came across was pretty picked over and stripped
  2. so finally checked into it, turns out the threading is stripped on it so off to find a 'upper link spindle' anyone know if this happens to come with the suspension lift kit that comes from 4x4parts? if not anyone happen to have junk with this in it or find/know of a place that would sell, not having too much luck yet, gonna head to nissan in the mornin to find out how much the sucker is

  4. it was too dark before i could inspect further, stopped by local hardware store and didn't find any sized nut/washer that i wanted so went to nissan and for 2.78 got everything i needed, gonna be taken a look at the spindle in the mornin and see if it's possible that it mighta stripped. as for the lift kit just bought the complete 3inch rs5000 kit from 4x4parts, but if the spindles stripped looks like ill be grabbin one those too
  5. ya those are stock (86.5) just spent 900 bucks for new susp+body+steering stabs waitin on them to come in, thanks for lettin me know just gonna go down to nissan see if they gottem in,
  6. i am missing some spacer/washer and nut is there sometin else? what exactly are those so i can go down and pick these up, and what are the worries as far as do i dare drive like that, went out muddin and just noticed those missin from the passangers front side Passenger Side Drivers Side
  7. i was under the assumption that SL = coils/uca/torsion/shocks and BL = the spacers i figured if im gonna get a kit might as well get it all new so i don't worry about things one way or another
  8. since this has been brought up, is it unnecessary/stupid to go the route of 3inch body and 3inch suspension, if i plan on puttin on 33's that is, i plan on gettin whole new uca's/shocks/springs + the 3inch body kit i guess what id be asking is should i just do one or the other, will i get more benefit with going one way or the other, or going both can't hurt and might be worth it
  9. ya that's the way mine work (87 pathy) even if in gear for 4wd you can hear it disengage when u go in reverse

  11. out of curiosity what is the benefits of using locking hubs vs stock setup (87 pathy), just trying to understand how exactly it's beneficial to add

  13. if it ends up being that myself and friends go to put it in, im just making sure i won't encounter any conflicts if i try to replace one thing, if it even makes a difference, before replacing another. everyone seems to be suggesting to buy all the pieces independently in place of buying a complete kit, and me being new to this, i'll probably be back maken sure i got everything on the checklist (NO QUESTIONS ON WHAT BRANDS JUST MAKEING SURE I HAVE THE PART!!!!) pssd pssd
  14. i just meant order of which i should pull stuff out and replace, just for the most efficient and easiest way to get to everything, nothing about brands and what not
  15. im lookin to replace stock shocks/ucas/springs, to a 3"
  16. i've got a pathy manual and what not on removeing the parts for my suspenion and so on, just wondering what would be the easiest order as far as removing/putting in the new parts (front and rear)

  18. well no slippage, but noticed this week it's warmed up alot and no rubbing whatsoever, only when it was cold
  19. are there any intakes to move up on for a '87 pathy, alotta stuff i've come across seems the sucker is too old
  20. 87 xe v6 come with coils only in the back? i was checkin out my pathy today and was looking in the front and noticed only back has coils, is this normal?
  21. so in the case that i need to fix it up, what exactly would need to be replaced in specific? things 20 yearsold and starting to have to fix up alotta things so was kinda expected hehe (just replaced starter and power steering)

  23. when it occurs if i take out the clutch it'll stop, if i leave clutch in it'll go for afew seconds then gradually just go away as for the clutch assembly it was completely replaced some years back
  24. i notice this case more when it's cold out, but on my 87 pathy (manual tranny) occasionaly when the clutch is pressed in i hear/feel a rubbing sensation, release the clutch and the sound goes away, any ideas?
  25. what would be the appropriate range for a body lift, been lookin at the 3inch anything more seems unneccessary at this point (runnin on 30inch tires atm)
