  1. haven't seen any good ones on ebay idk not for the pathfinder at least i would like an OEM one only
  2. I have a part-time 4wd system and when shifting into 4H from 2H it will only go about halfway in and then if I put it back on 2H and shift into 4H again the lever will fully go into 4H. The 4x4 does work but it is annoying to shift like this. If shifting on the fly, even at the lowest speed, the transfer case will try to fight and not go into 4H. I can only shift in P or N really. Is it defective or is it just a design flaw?
  3. why resistors? theres a knob on the dashboard that dims the lights
  4. The switches are fine, its just that the little bulbs inside them are all burnt. Ill see maybe I can fix them without breaking them. Save them for someone who might really need them. Unless I break mine trying to repair... lol
  5. I would rather just get extras from the JY and keep trying to fix them and throw out the ones that break apart. lol
  6. Does anyone know where I can get a nissan clinometer? I like how they are setup in the terranos and thought it would be nice to have one.
  7. oups yea i did not realize it was a manual lol and yes use the 4 kind for manual
  8. Did you replace them all? What did you use?
  9. drain it use nissanmatic D i think you crossed the fine line in your sig lol
  10. First of all, I have the 91 flat dash... Anyway I replaced the cruise control switch because my old one was busted and I took the old one apart. I noticed that there is a little bulb in it. Is the a bulb inside every switch then?! Mine are all burned out! Taking the switches apart is a disaster too since they are so brittle. They all have the micro lamps right?
  11. Yep, I was thinking about fabricating them out of plexiglass for durability. Its going to be a simple circuit board or maybe not even a circuit board at all depending on the amount of LEDs I put in. Stay with this thread, if I decide on it, I will make them and possibly make extras for members.
  12. Do you have the 2 stock assemblies? What condition are they in? Is the bulb socket inside rusty? Then I have an interesting idea... Would it be too far fetched to make LED strips for turn lights?
  13. After popping a failed front turn signal apart, the one in the bumper, I realized how much they suck. Is there any replacement for the stock assembly with possibly a higher quality one? Or at least if I can get new ones? I would like to have clear ones (fogged white) with yellow bulbs if thats possible.
  14. Replaced it today with a newer design one and it was a direct fit. The old one has hoses going into the cap but this one has a hose at the bottom. My engine temp seemed to have lowered a bit too. The revised part makes less mess too so it was definately worth replacing it. The bees kept attacking me today because the new cap is bright yellow.
  15. bye bye manifold heat shields and hood insulator
  16. Well I have a big hole forming in the hood insulator. Would it be to any negative effect if I just ripped it out entirely? Not buying a new one from the dealer would save me around $160.
  17. Since I am planning on getting the Doug Thorley headers for my WD21, I was just wondering if it is possible to not use the Y pipe and just have two straight pipes with cats and mufflers at the end. Maybe along with an X-pipe for better flow? Or should I stick with a single pipe?
  18. You have to pull the transmission. Meaning you have to pull the torsion bars and the driveshaft as well. Once you do that, its easy to change the seal. Then its all a matter of assembling it again.
