  2. So for my roof lights, technicaly speaking my stalk fuses box should have room to place a couple more connections.. cause I remember looking in there and not all the fuses where there. I also Have a complete spare fuse holder like everyone has on the left of steering wheel... maybe I can use that just for accesories and find somehere creative to hide it
  3. Na i dont want to be posing... im not sure if im going to be as hardcore as some on here but id like peices that actually perform. Im just not sure what to start with. Im thinking i need to do suspension first and the whole shabang in that area.... but what do i need to change and alter? What peices do I need? Like I said I read forums and stuff but its usualy about a specific peice, im asking what do I need to do it all. From peice to peice. Thanks Jay
  4. Personally if I was going to be doing all this work I wouldnt mess around with the frame... cost like 1900$ new... would not mess with an old rusty one. Once you start taking out bolts and screws it just gets weaker and weaker... and if theres any rust on the body itself well theres chances you might twist it when its lifted then your doors wont close properly. Im just informing you... im very deep into a way bigger project then what your talking about and have gained alot of knowledge on the way, just thought id share. And for the ZRC stuff I was talking about its 250$ cdn a gallon and I beleive 35$ a gallon for the stuff to remove it.... like paint thinner but for this product. Check out more info here ZRC It actually chemicaly bonds to the metal. My dad used it on our chimney id say 20 years ago and we have the only non-rusted chimney. It needs to be applied to bare metal.
  5. Na I never got bushwacking flares but when I took em off the spare part pathy the clips where in no condition to be used... so I really want em just need new clips of some sort. I see your showing me which parts I need but I have no knowledge on what they do or where to get em or what application they are good for. I just dont know how to go about doing the whole process of which parts to change first... and which ones are worthwhile. Let me know Thanks Jay
  6. Hey guys my bushwacking fender flare clips are in bad shape or missing. Can I replace these... I have a rivet gun but can the clips be purchased??? anyone try this yet? Also while I have a topic going what would be the best sites to purchase parts for offroading mods etc... like lift kits etc... Ive been reading around but If I wanted to go by changing my suspension and lifting my truck what would be the most recommended peices? I did Read the forums and use search guys but Id like to know now that everyone has tested them etc which ones would be best. Just need to know what would be the best things to change while doing all this... inhance my truck performance or just make it ride better.... Thanks Jay
  7. no no some wire harness for lights come with a built in fuse on the wire itself.... I know it needs to go to a relay, but my questions was does it need a fuse on the wire harness or can it just go to the fuse box?
  8. Hey man! well Ive been working on a project similar to yours. I lifted my body off to re-finish my frame. There was no repairs needed but I sanded/grinded and coated it with ZRC. I suggest everytime you fix rust or have bare metal put ZRC... expensive but youll never see rust again. Yes this can be worth it if you know how to do it.. if not you need someone who is willing to do it cheap unless your willing to spend the money... If you have any questions about body work/rebuilding let me know Jay
  9. When doing the lighting for my roof whould my wire harness have a fuse on it? or is it good with out it? Thanks Jay
  10. ah @!*% dooppp Sorry tired guys lol
  11. Hey guys does this lift kit look decent? or maybe get other ones... not sure. And how big can I lift my pathy on stock wheels to not look out of proportion? Also how much should I be looking on bigger tires? I did some research but didnt really find much on the tires around here... saw alot online LIFT KIT Thanks Jay
  12. Nice pic bud! :o I wanna play in the mud
  13. either way its much easier to just do it on my site... this way there wont be any issues at all, Jay
  14. Na na, I always say take all the knowledge in and thank those who help but on this project the large majority is just there to put in their little crack and put down the project so I moved on. Its not a big deal guys. Like I said ill still be around and I hold nothing against NPORA. Just I decided it would be best not to continue the thread on this forum for it was not doing much for me but trying to explain why im doing the project and trying to prove that my truck is worthy or my questions where good instead of focusing on my problems and project. Anyhow thats the way it is... like I said for those who are interested they will follow the discussion and those who arent will continue doing their daily thing on the forums. Thats all... Thanks Jay
  15. This thread will continue elsewhere if people are interested at all. Go here if youd like, you dont need to register if you dont want to and if anyone is interested in being a moderator for I need help let me know asap! Heres the link to the discussion: My discussion Thanks Guys Jay
  16. Well im not leaving the forums I just ment for my rebuild I will no longer ask questions here since they are always addressed in answers like WE ALREADY TALKED ABOUT THIS. Well I wasnt part of that thread and search button sucks you get outlines of convos but miss main contain sometimes. Either way I saw my project was being bashed/people just fussing and complaining about repition. Its all new to me guys, first car, first time on forums, first project.... I thought this was the place to go but I guess not for that... unless I have some outrageous problem no ones heard about then Ill come back. Ill still post around... just thought it wasnt a good idea to continue my project over at NPORA forum board. See ya guys around Jay
  17. 3-5 due to the rebuild and mechanics
  18. Hmm I think i will go ahead and try that bud! Thanks Jay
  19. hehe I have a fluke meter... cost about 300$ those damn things. Im in refrigeration so as for electrical I know alot about it... im just double checking all my work before I go ahead and do it. Cars/refrigeration electrically is alot different but very similar... I just dont know the best way to route my wires and I know on these forums alot of ways have been tested Thanks Jay
  20. Hey guys well since I seem to be pissing off alot of people on the forums by asking questions that have been answered in the past im moving my convos to my forums so that only people that are interested will post. Not trying to be rude or anything but personally I think it would be easiests this way for I wont piss anyone off and those who i guess "tolerate" me will come and check it out. Heres the link to the discussion: My discussion Thanks Guys
  21. Alright if my truck catches on fire i will come back to ya on that one 88 lol. My theory on this stuff is why use my methods if someone has one thats proven to be best? I mean why would I want to wire it all then be like oh shat I have to go back and remove my dash and redo it all over again. I dont get why you cant just leave advice... kind of makes the forums useless if everytime someone asks a question its like " USE THE SEARCH", USE UR IMAGINATION....
  22. Alright guys now im going to be installing my light bar. I have some questions too about audio. How would I go about installing 6x9 in my trunk if in there theres like little amps/subs. Pretty sure they are stock ones but they are in little seperate compartments on the side of my windows that blend into the frame... Just not sure how that works cause the 92 pathy I have doesnt have the that speakers are directley place into the side but mine has some sort of casing.... Anyhow let me know Jay
