So I'm sitting here debating whether or not I want to order the super sliders from Rocky Road. They're $408 which includes shipping from UT. Does this seem pretty reasonable? I know the ones from 4crawler are at least that much. Do any of yall have any experience with RR. I know Tyler (W.) has the standard sliders, I dont know if he's on here or not, whatever. I cant decide if I want them or not. I dontknow what else I want to do to this thing, I'm getting a free center skid soon, so with these I'll pretty much be armored up. Here's what they look like. is the CV axle in my 2000 r50 interchangeable with one from a 2003 X?

alright, thought so.

I assume that the supersliders for the 96-99.5 will fit my 2000 correct? I cant imagine the mount locations changed. Also, the diff-guard, is that meant for an r50 or a wd21?

actually neither Gianni nor me are going to make it so we'll try for another weekend. I may be getting these free skids soon (not before shoe creek though) so hopefully I can get up in the mountains to try them out some time. Hey Paul, how far is shoe creek from us? I'd like to go, but if it's kinda far west I may skip it because I've got some mechanical things to take care of before I do too much driving.

I get that a lot with beach driving. I think the only damage would be to your ears from that terrible, high-pitched squealing.

shocks take 5-10 minutes max, easy job. struts can take a while, and can be really hard

damn, April? That's awesome. I'm done a month or so after that. Not sure where he got the skids from, but he mentioned it in a pm on VAXC that he was getting them and needed to test them out.
