  1. first off the stock nissan axle is bigger then a 8.8. 233 is the ring gear size which equivalates out to 9.something so hte nissan rear end is bigger in gear size and u can get 5.13s for the nissan 1. easiest is front leaf spring witha shackle reversal kit. and leaves from a waggy.. 2. get a D44 from a waggy you wont regret it in the end. its a little wider but not enough to make a difference and its better then a d30 for cost effectivness. 3. most ditch their frotn crossmember 4. sway bars a re gonna possibly require some custom fab casue you lifitng so much. 5. stock nissan tcase is the tx10 and yes there is a SYE available from calmini. depending on how you set it up not necessary but recommenended
  2. electrix fan (ford taurus) front axle (jeep that counts for like alot) rear springs (ford bronco) shocks are just longer ones for something i went by length to find them wheels from something alternator (aftermarket (mean green)) probably other stuff aside from that not sure what else
  3. yea the old misdirection routine. they be worried about the item you actually "bought" instead of your "parts" that are in your parts bin.
  4. theres an option to add a 3 inch bodylift on it. and i know right 400 is kinda insane. and i looked into the trail gear one and im considering em the only problem is the short ones are a little short and the long ones are to long.
  5. Just got off the phone with shrockworks and it so happens that they make sliders for the 89-95 pathfinder. they are the same cost as the xterra ones ($379) and they are weld on. They are not listed on the website but if you call they have. i talked with jim i think it was. Just another option. and figure i would let you all know
  6. maybe it just got kicked up there from someone elses rig getting stuck or borken in the mud
  7. whats the cost gonna be on that steevo, cause diamond housings arent super cheap. and the one by trail gear is looking to be pretty cheap. and 885spd.. which axle are you talking about
  8. pathy is 59. and a waggy front is 61. the rear they have stats its 51 3/8 so a plus two would be 53 3/8 right. so the rear is to small
  9. yea trail gear is coming out with new axle housing but they are way to narrow. the rear is coming in at 51 3/8 inches and out rear is 59 even if you get the rear with the +2 inches on it its only going to be 53 3/8 no where near wide enough for the pathy but would work great for a sami
  10. yes with enough money and time anything can be done. but for cost effectiveness and easiness of install going with a driver drop is way easier
  11. how much did the axlew run ya...just outta curosity
  12. you want the grand wagoneer 44 cause its the closest to the width. youll have to regear the front no matter what with a new carrier.... most of them had 3.XX and the pathy either had 4.3 or 4.6 in the rear there fore youll need to get a new carier. and any wagoneer thats not the vacumm disconnect casue then you wont be able to set up the 4wd.. most of them had auto locking hubs... id recommend getting a set of warns.
  13. im betting its a amatter of time... i normally used to play up at moon rocks adn funny rocks in the naches trail system... which is some of the best rockcrawling in washington.... so well see what happens.
  14. id say id wheel pretty hard im willing to try just about anything. lol. nope calmini gears (wish i did though) no atlas (wish i did though). and i have a rear lockright locker. i figure im pushing the limits of the axle shaft where it is now.
  15. then i would do a 3 link wiht panhard or radius arm
  16. same thing i told nismojunky.... in the end its not worth it if your gonna put all this time and effort do a 3 link with a panhard bar. " it would workbut youll lose articulation compared to a 3 link w/ panhard or triangulated 4 link. the reason being the link ends will bind under articulation but youll gain some back depending on the links end. the 5 link screads the load across more of the frame then say a radius arm. if you gonna put the design and effort to do a coil set up i would do it toward a 3 link with panhard for the front. 4 link front ends have steeering issues and would probably have to go to hydro steer because the tri 4 link would casue major bumpsteer....IT all also depends on what your using it for. are u planning on street driving it " you could theoritically do it....... would it be good for a front suspension. NO would it be good for articulation and offroading. NO is it worht the time and effort. NO Take your time doing these things right the first time not worth rushing into it and doing it wrong... something ive learned is that i wish i woulda saved up more and not gone with leaves but doen some type of coilover or coil set up from the get go. though while leaves are easy i want more . lol and take your tiem figuring out all the brackets and everythign as well as crossmembers cause if you dont youll end up redoing em and its a pita

  18. yea i think a guy either on nissan4wheelers.com or the AC boards had em... not sure which ones... but i do know there is alot of good info on the nissan4wheelers.com website if you wanna check that one out as well and read there info but let us know ifyou have any more ?
  19. yea it might have to do with that and the more weight on the front end and rear. and u know it B i cant name the number of times at the gas station or wehn im walking or getting in the car people are like so hows your jeep handle in the winter... im like umm i wish u knew how to read
  20. mpgs on mine went from like 17-20 to 8-10....lol but i dont drive it often... basically to the trail and back or occasionally to teh grocery store to see people faces like WTF is that
  21. on my sas i have a set of 33 road tires that are for the road only.... for offroad i have a set of 36 swampers... clearing 36s with a spring under will require you to cut you fenders on all for corners to avoid rubbing and even then you will probably still get a little rub.
