So DJ Dank, Casey T and I ventured over to Riverside state park today for some sweet mud, dirt, rocks, sand and hills. Anyone else in the Spokane are should definetely check it out, its free and its huge. About 60 acres set aside for nothing but off-roading. :cool2: DJ had his camera so he'll be posting some shots up here soon. Revco, we'll catch ya next time. Thanks guys it was sweet. And thanks for the sticker DJ!

Maybe its just my eyes playing tricks on me but this part looks red, am I right??

Say, does anyone on this side of the pond have the taillights with the red turn signal lenses? I think that'd be cool to have and very few folks here would have them. Plus only the true Pathy fans would notice the subtle change....
-
Has anyone snaggeed one of those nifty Aussie (I assume) rear bumpers with the turn signal lamps built in? That'd be kinda neat to have or even convert the amber to clear and use 'em for back up lights...

Well I have nothing intelligent to add but your stories are very entertaining. I think I've learned a couple things not to do since I'm new to the whole 4WD thing myself. Sorry to hear about getting stuck. But thanks for telling your tales here. You may have saved me from some future nasty incidents.. Good luck bud. Oli

Sure, as soon as I finish the film in my camera and get it developed. It'd be so much easier if I had a digital....

Well I got 'em put in and working. Now I have to wait till dark to see if my time was well spent.... Thanks for the help from all ya'll Now I can proudly say that I'm not stock anymore.

Yeah the guy at Auto Zone told me that some Police stop you for extra lights on the back. If worse comes to worse and I have to take 'em off I can always add them to the front I guess...

Yes, I have another question. Any idea where the reverse light wires are under the dash? The wire coming out of the light itself is red/black but it changes when it gets to the connector. Where does nissan run the wires for the taillights? Thanks again.
-
Ah ha, looks good. Thanks a lot.

ok so I'm a novice at most things useful. Humor me, if you will. What kind of relay am I looking for? And what guage wire would be best suited to this purpose? Thanks Oli
-
Good thinking about the firewall and such. Thanks I was just going to mount them under the bumper on either side of my hitch. I don't really have the tools (or time) to cut holes in my bumper so they'd face out, but that sounds like a great idea. I wish I had a roofrack so I could mount a set of lights up there facing rear.
-
OK thanks. I'll check out a relay for these.

So I got a pair of driving lights today to mount on the back bumper so I can see while backing up at night. I hear talk of some rubber grommets on the body that I could run my wires through. Where are they? And, in order for these to work I'll need to splice them into my existing wiring. Do those crimp on connectors work well? Thanks Oli

I'm finding lots of Nissan parts on this site. how reliable are they? Have any of you used them in the past? Thanks Oli

I've been looking for lots of nice do-dads to add to the black beauty and some wheels are high on my list since I'd like to get some good tires eventually. I searched for info on here and found that my chrome steels maybe aren't the best bet. I've seen lots of trucks and jeeps with what look like plain black steel wheels. Is that what lots of folks use? Where are good places to find them? Boneyards maybe? Thanks as always. Oliver

Awesome, I'll try that. I'm glad its not the horn, as funny as that sounds. haha.
-
Hmm, that does not sound good. Thanks for the heads-up.
-
Nevermind its not 500 its $335.

Is $215 a good price for a new set of headers? I noticed that Pacesetter's listed price on their site is something in the $500 range. Thanks Oliver
