i havent looked yet but was wondering if anyone had to remove the cross member and exhause pipe to remove the pan?

im looking for a after market temp gauge for my 92 pathfinder i got one from autozone i forgot what brand it is starts with an s but anyway the fittings are too big to put where the temp sensor goes. i was wondering if anyone can tell what after market gauges will fit on there or maybe i can hook it somewhere else. thanks

cool i only run too castrol but if im broke i use cheveron i use 10w 30 or 10w 40

my car runs smooth on it

i have a 95 nissan pathfinder and sinced i owned it i bought a 5 quart of cheveron oil 10w 40 so i used 3 quarts from the jug. Well i had to change my oil again cause there was diesle in my gas as you all now from my post. well anyway so i changed it again i had 2 quarts left from my jug so i went to napa and got a filter comes to find out there wasnt no cheveron oil so i got the napa brand to make up that one quart along with napa oil treatment. my question is has anyone ever used cheveron and napa oil? there both api. i usually get castrol oil but me bein alittle broke i used cheveron this time i hear and read its pretty good.

a off and on vibration and i also hear woo woo woo sounds like a bad wheel bearing. does it too when i pull in only does it when the wheel is cranked either way when the car is moving. thanks

how do i ull codes with out a light on the dash

i dont have a check engine light on my dash. might be the fuel filter it would do a sluggish shake but when im at a traffic light it shakes to. in park it will miss alittle but it will also do alittle sputter in park when u rev the engine too. thanks for the reply

of course when my 95 pathfinder messes up and the other car gonna mess up to which is a 92 pathfinder just started sputtering todayu and i can smell the exhaust is this an o2 sensor issue?

so know the car is running fine the bill goin to the insurance so they can deal with it. all they did was drop the tank and flushed the lines out. 200 bucks right there.

not to make it worst i drove it home for 20 miles on diesel after it was put in not knowing it was diesel. could those make my injectors make noise going underload? well hopefully it didnt ruin anything. thanks

so im allright then just drain the tank and put new filter and plugs? im doing all this under his expense i might have it towed to the dealer if i can and have it fixed or my mechanic. im not so happy best for the insurance to talk to them instead of me cause id be goin off the insurance used them for road side assitance. so im waiting on a phone call

im gonna get him to pay for it waiting back on the insurance. im probably gonna have it hauled to the nissan dealer under there expense. what problems well this cause?

turns out the tow truck driver put diesel in my gas tank.

well i took the car to the shop havent really gotton to it but they told me there was some gas in the cyinders and will let me know tomorrow whats wrong with it.

it didnt run out it got to where the gauge wont go any lower so i had a tow truck driver came out and put 5 dollars worth in and thats when it acted up.

i'll look into it but it happened after they came out and put gas into it then it started running like this

ok so i took the spark plugs out cleaned them took all the black crud off till i get new ones and changed the oil. when i start it up it smokes out of the exhaust like a mother basicly what it did before. started right up ran for a min then died, then i tried starting it u can hear it back firing through the airfilter box with smoke coming out of it then finally starts let it run for almost a min then dies but when i do keep it running i have to keep tapping on the gas cause when i press it it sputters like it wants to cut out but it likes to back fire through the air box when i try to use gas to keep it running seems to idle fine but then it goess down and dies. uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my next thing is drain the gas tank? maybe fuel pump?

ya my spark plugs smell like strong fuel. it was damp.

so i would have to order the plugs. in the mean time i got lubricate to soak the plugs then brush them off with a mini wire brush and rinse with brake clean seems the clean it good. i let the oil drain over night to get most of it out. do u recommend me canging it again to get some of the gas out of the engine? well im hopeing this will work wish me luck. thanks for all your replies

will it urt to run any of those. the autoparts i went to dont have the ngk or denso'd and i need them by today will it hurt it?

so i should just change the plugs and oil cause thats all i can replace for now. thaat should solve it hopefully.
