  1. I will sell you a good vaccum cut valve if you'd like. I took out the entire emissions system on mine and I've got all of these parts laying around. They all worked 100% when I took them out.
  2. If I were you, I would think it's time to take it to a welder. I'd be surprised if you ever got a refund or a new CL, so you might as well get what you have fixed. I can't imagine it would be more than $40-50 if you ground down all the bad welds, and brought it in to a shop and just told them what you need welded. Bad situation.
  3. If the pump has run dry before I'd say there's a pretty good chance it might be the problem.
  4. Now that I think about it, you just changed the belts. Did you check tension on any/all of the belts?
  5. If you need any help we could try and track the sound down sometime. I miss working on my car so I'm looking for other projects to work on. I've got probably any part you will ever need to fix it so no worries there. If it is a power steering pump we can pull mine off my Pathfinder.
  6. I just ripped out my AC...anyone need another condenser?
  7. I think I'm going to take Fueler and RWC5S2 up on the shipping deal. I just priced out shipping to Canada which will differ a little depending on box size and weight but I'm trying save as much money as I can at the moment. I'm just about broke from this engine. Anyone have a Z32 flywheel laying around? I'll take one as a partial trade. I'm going to spend time tonight figuring exactly what shipping is going to cost everyone and I'll send out Paypal invoices to everyone. If for some reason I forget to include hardware in your invoice let me know and I'll change it. I need to go back and read all the old PMs to figure out who wants it.
  8. Thank you to both of you for stepping up and being able to wait a little longer. Fueler takes care of 2 sets so that even saves me money splitting shipping with him. :tonguefinger: Let me check on shipping prices to Canada before I agree to this deal!
  9. Mostly good news..... Spacers are shipping from the waterjet shop to me TODAY! They are in Washington, I'm in Colorado. I should have them early next week. If we want to be optimistic I *might* be able to get them to people before next weekend! The bad...The shop didn't realize they didn't have enough material so 12 of the 18 have been cut. I hate to ask people to do this but if there is anyone who knows they won't be installing them right away and can wait a couple more days I will split shipping with you. He said these will be cut early next week as well. There will be 3 people who can "take advantage" of this deal on reduced shipping.
  10. Any of the S/C kits made for the 350Z will bolt up to the engine if you can find a kit that will work in the engine bay.
  11. I agree. I'll do that as soon as they come in. On a side note, I just got off the phone with the shop and I'm a little frusterated. They had a few delays on the new machine (yada, yada, yada, I know) and they are now saying mid next week it will be up and running. They needed to order some type of pump today, and it will be in Monday and installed by Wednesday. Or so they say... I'm not too worried since it's a very reputable shop (check them out at pctmfg.com) but it's been nearly a month since I've collected money and I'm trying to do everything in my power to get these ASAP. If anyone is upset about the wait get in contact with me and I'll refund your money. I'm confident they will be well worth the wait once they're finished!
  12. Sorry to everyone for the long wait. I haven't heard from the shop yet and I haven't had a chance to call and check on these yet. I get out of class early tomorrow so I'll be calling them and I'll post back up with what I hope is good news.
  13. I just read that over on one of the AUS sites. Are you just going to put in a completely new harness for the headlights? If so, just get a wiring harness like the ARB (expensive but quality stuff) or make you're own. There are tons of wiring diagrams out there for auxillary lights and these will wire up the exact same way as if you were adding extra lights to the front.
  14. Holy $%#@! Glad to hear everyone was OK. Were you moving when it got hit?
  15. Any chance you're looking to part any off the aftermarket parts out before selling it?
  16. UPDATE: I got a call from the machine shop today and the drawings are complete. The owner told me they were getting in a brand new Water-jet with all kinds of fancy stuff on it the Monday after next (the 8th). He said that his current machine will cut these no problem but if I wanted to wait another week these parts would be the very first parts off the new machine. He thought it would be a good set of parts to try out the capabilities of the new machine and said that the cut on them should be far superior to their old machine. I told him to go ahead and wait. I hope I made the right decision in telling him to wait. He said the parts should ship by Wednesday the 10th, and then I'll have to re-box everything up and send it out. Thanks for being patient everyone.
  17. Sounds like you need to stay away from water with your luck!!! I really can't comment on what to expect for the damage but you can imagine what rust can do with all the moving parts. There's a chance that a layer of rust could have built up on the R&P which would make the gear mesh tighter and contribute to the whining. It's really hard to say without having a look at it, but with as easy as it is to pull the front diff (especially considering you've already pulled the engine) that's what I would do.
  18. I think you've still got some time if you'd like to get on this. Sent the shop a drawing and sounded like it needed to be converted. They're a little slow to get back to me but hopefully they will crank these out as soon as I get them everything they need.
  19. Use a 3/8" diameter grade 8 bolt. The fine thread works better and stays tight better. I would use a regular washer on both the top and bottom of the bolt and a lock washer wouldn't hurt. Use grade 8 washers if you can too. They won't compress as much and help keep those bolts from loosening up.
  20. F'in awesome.....Thanks so much Acey.
  21. Got it! Still trying to figure out prices on hardware if you want that. Thanks for the payments everyone.
  22. Thanks Dean! That should be close enough, it's alright if the new bolts are a little longer than stock. I thought I remembered the last bolts being 2.5" long with 3/4" spacers but I might be off.
