If you go reman, autozone would be at the bottom of my list, NAPA on top, Oreilly in the middle - Thats just my opinion. I put a Oreilly reman starter in mine about a year or year 1/2 ago and it is still starting fine.

I'm not implying a single thing Bud,
B
Dam B, go have a beer and cool off man, I was implying that you were implying that we're all rednecks in Arkansas. Although that would not be too far from the truth , shiite
-
Here in Arkansas we have no smog test or even inspections. We also have nice clean air to breathe.

If 10% of the population were to go Redneck on their cat/exhaust/intake system with a hacksaw to get more performance or generally neglect the vehicle until it barely runs, I really don't think I would want to live here anymore...
B
What are you implying B?
-
Thanks for keeping us up to date Mike, although I think I'll still leave mine bypassed
-
Yes, there are only a few minor differences and those are even noted in the write up. The VG33 is the VG30's older brother...
B
You mean younger brother?

How much of a PITA is replacing the valve gaskets? It looks like the biggest PITA is getting the plenum off and all related accesories. Mine are leaking pretty bad, I did realize last night that the screws holding the covers were super loose so I tightened those up, we'll see if there is an improvement, any How To's out there on this?
-
I was checking those out last time I walked past them at WW, keep us posted as to how you like them. They look good
-
I think the last time I asked the dealer the price was somewhere between $600 -$800 , IIRC
-
sweet, keep us posted and get some pix

-
B, why would you reinstall a rad into a parts truck?
-

-
-
I'd like a set of those, they look sweet
-
Will this apply to the US or is this just a Canada deal?
-
No doubt, this is potentially GREAT info for 2005 and up PF owners, I just wonder if it will cover dead tranny's because of the rad failure?

there's a guy making them for the VQ40 over on another forum, here's his claims
hp peak 8hp@5600
torque peak 23ft/lds@4400
more important is mid range numbers
hp from 3600-4800 is 23hp increase
torque 3600-4400 is 23-33ft/lbs increase over previous run."
I think it's the same guy in Cuong's post
