I have been having excessive heat coming from the transmission area inside the cab. After driving for a while, the heat comes from the 4 wheel drive shifter and the console area. Is this heat coming from the transmission and if so what does it mean? Do I need to install an aftermarket tranny cooler? PS : Sometimes you could roast a weiner on the Shifter (Ouch!!) 95 SE V6 Auto Transmission, 140000 miles.

What exactly do you mean "cut". I know that they did turn the rotors but I don't think they were cut.

By the way, can I leave the Brake dust cover off if that is the problem, or will it cause me headaches on down the road? Thanks...

95 SE 140,000 miles. By the way, I took it back to the shop 3 times after having the CV axles replaced and the front brakes. They totally redid the brakes AND the CV axle replacement. Still squeaks, not quite as bad. Seems like it has to get hot before it starts. It is driving me crazy though!!

:help: I just recently had both CV Axles replaced because they were both busted and most or all of the grease was gone. Now, occasionally, when I slow down to around 20 or 25 mph my wheels begin to squeak. (Ouch, I hate squeaks!) I know it is not the brakes because I just had them done and rechecked. The squeaking also happens when I take off from a stop. My question is, could this be my automatice hubs and what will happen if I do not replace them?

:help: How difficult is it to take down the small headliner piece on the driver side, right above your head? The vinyl is coming off and I need to fix it, but I'm not sure how to get the metal headliner piece out. It looks like the interior light will have to come out. Any suggestions....

Does anyone know how to repair the rear seatbelts? I have a couple that will not latch. I don't know if they are worth working on or if it would be easier to replace them. Any help would be great!

You should be able to find the bulb at any Auto Parts business. I have a 95 SE and have replaced mine twice. The bulb costs about $3.00 each.

What does a full set of the Ranchos cost? Anyone know and are they worth it?
