  1. I understand your frustration but are you gonna elighten potentil buyer of um the issue you are having? If you are then I will stand corrected if not then I stand by my origianl comment.

I'm not even dignifying this with a response. There's a reason mine's listed $1500 cheaper than any other 4 door in the trader.

Aaron, you're absolutely right. I just can't bear the thought of working on that truck one more time. I've spent a fortune keeping the thing alive, and it won't stop breaking (even though i had to stop wheeling). I'd rather work on something else, just not do alternator no. 6, etc.

  2. thats not cool

    why?

i should keep putting all my time, money, and frustration into that pile of sh!t truck?

The truck was fine till i starting wheeling the hell out of it. and i will never take a nissan down anything harder than an easy run ever again...this coming from the VP of the calgary nissan and import 4x4 club :D

  3. Solenoids are $385 direct from nissan for teh 4 speed autotragic

I think the tranny's toast now-no second gear at all :(

Fear not my friends a jeep is out of the question.

    A frind of mine has a '97 S-10 ZR-2 for sale

    10" lift

    SAS-front dana 44

    rear axle swap-GM 12 bolt

    lockers front and rear

    4.3 v6

    35 inch TRXUS STS's

    dual t-cases

    !!  $4000  !!

Hopefully I wont have to replace EL, but if I do at least I'll still wheel in style  :P  :cool2:

if i was you, i'd fix the pathfinder, try and get top dollar for it, and buy what you'd like. Keep in mind a SAS'ed S10 is one SH!tty daily driver compared to your pathfinder.

  4. I have the mystery machine.

So, my tranny’s been sounding like a bag of rocks for a while, t/o bearing screeching like a banshee, and overall the driving experience in the potato has left a lot to be desired.

I go over to Visions NE after work yesterday to fix my parking light harness (don’t ask) and on the way home, get to the lights by the airport on Barlow.

Pull away in first --- noisy as hell

Quickly shift into second – oh your god its loud

Shift into third and let go of the clutch ------ BAAAAAAANNNNGGGGGG!!!!!! CRASH!!!!!! THRASH!!!!! POP!!!

    And no forward momentum anymore

    Pull over, shut it down.

JAM it into first and pull away, still loud nasty noises coming from the tranny, but its moving.

About 5 mins later, a quiet pop and all the noise is gone. All of it. The truck has never been better.

I think this crew is who needs to solve this one:

  5. I hate to have to do this, but you really need to add one more option to the list.  Seems everywhere i go,  Everyone I talk to says,

"Where did you get that Piece of Sh!t"

So My vote goes with that.  I seem to be mistaken for a piece of sh!t all the time.

    i hear that.

I wish i owned any of the other options over the pissfinder. Though i suppose that's why mines getting traded in on a TJ after winter.

  6. I like how the thermostat is mounted upside down, and the front end has no flex.

I also enjoy how the stock bumpers can be crushed like a tin can.

Oh, and the marvelous engineer that decided the north american trucks spare tire carrier should open the same direction as the JDM ones. It's great when you're parked against the curb and loading/unloading things out of the back and you get to walk around it 100 times.

How can we forget the steering wheel that looks like it belongs in the millenium falcon?

    Or the interference head design?

The vertical bushing in the centerlink?

the point where the body seams meet under the back seat and eventually leads to a hole?

How the cast part of the exhaust under the drivers side floor that leads to a another hole?

Non-standard pitch on the wheel studs?

Ohhh, tiny bolts that hold the stock skid plate on!

The way the starter has to come out in between the centerlink and frame to get it out quick?

    Brittle exhaust manifold studs?

A whiz-bang coil/link setup that has no flex?

The way the front bumper mounts inside the body instead of on frame horns, making winch mounting an exciting adventure?

I love how any tire bigger than a 235 on the spare tire rack will eventually twist the studs out from smacking it on the ground coming off obstacles.

Oh yeah, and how the spacious back seat is eclipsed by the narrower-than-all-hell door openings.

I still love my truck, even though its been known to bug me :P

  7. :o Do we have an e-thug right here on NPORA...something about someone who was a dealer once or something?

I nominate this thread......BEST THREAD EVER ON NPORA!

it's been a long time since there was drama in this section. -bounce-

  8. read his statement and tell me it didnt come off just a tad bit cocky and arrogant, and since it was directed at me I responded.

Dude, anyone that knows me knows i'm cocky and arrogant, i prefer to call it witty and confident. :D

  9. did ya have any sinuses left to infect??...sheesh.....glad to see you cleaned it up guess you cant have a bump and a smile huh

    No. None left.

What really scared me is i had an MRI this year, in January, after taking a nasty hit to the head and blacking out. I'd snorted maybe twice a year since 5 years ago, when the big habit had to go. My brian looks like one of those labyrinth games, it's scary and permanent.
