ok what exactly is the mount? where on the website did you get it? thats what mine looks like except black but the previous owner or whoever put it on did so poorly and the bottom bars that attach to the frame are all bent and weird and i don't know if it could hold a winch.

also the damaged reality write up isn't working for me and i'd really like to be able to read it as i finally have time to do this and really want to. going to call the junk yard tomorrow to see what they have.

I'll chime in with another question(s). what is the recomended interval to change these fluids. and I read that putting lsd fluid in non lsd is ok so iwas wondering if it does anything to performance?

i kinda like it. think it'd look better on some 35's though. lol

sounds like a fun project to me. and i agree any car can turn heads. i don't get girls looking at me while driving, i gotta do the work to get them in the truck, then they see what it can do and they're hooked, or scared to death in some cases... ha fun times. Good luck with the whole thing ill love to see a full write up and pictures and stuff. don't know much about the whole engine swap turbo thing but if you get that it going as fast and sounding as loud as they look they should be i say good job...

so what about all the little rings and stuff that are inside the auto locking hubs? i took one of mine apart once cause i thought i might have busted it but it was fine, all kinds of other little things in there, they all come off? i've been wanting to do this too.

ok well that makes sense to me now. i was just looking where the idler arm is but on the drivers side, like i said i don't know anything about the stuff down there. thanks.

so looking at beast paths truck i starting looking at 4x4parts and ruggedrocks at idler arm braces and steering stabalizers and such, i don't really know much about these mechanics in the first place. after seeing beasts braces and the pictures of the calmini ones on ruggedrocks, i went to go look at mine to see if they looked messed up or anything, and the drivers side one is way bigger and different looking, is it supposed to be like that or is this an aftermarket one?

i can't tell you where there's trails, but what i do if i'm bored and just want to drive around, i just look for dirt roads and take em and remember what turns and such i took so i can turn around if i need. its way more fun than a map personally. if it gets to rough for me to go at it without anyone knowing where i am i just turn around.

on a 90 yes. if you look at more than half the rigs on here they have manual hubs. dealers are dicks who want your money thinking you have to replace your auto hubs so they told you not to. i remember reading something on here about the push button set up you can't.. but with a 90 there shouldn't be a problem, im looking at getting some too. make sure the ones on ebay are the right ones though.

Yay for arizona!! though mine didn't come from here cause it has an engine block heater... it still didn't have any frame rust, just some of that junk under the back seats. but this is the one of the best states for getting older vehicles, see them all the time. nice find.

87, turn your engine off and open the hood and try to spin the fan by hand, it should spin without a problem. if it doesn't spin without a problem you probably need a new clutch. mine sounded the same untill i just changed it now i just hear the engine its so nice.

i had my brother in laws dad look at our hardbody cause it wouldn't start with a new battery and starter and it turned out to be a selenoid, on of the blue cased ones up on the body by the battery. he thought about it we tossed it on the pathy and it didn't work, got a new one on the truck and it started right up.

so tried bypassing the plug the wire was attached to and when i touched the wire to the conection in the back of the radio it blew the 75 fuse thats back there...

that sounds like a good idea if i had a battery charger ha. i should probably get one... hmmmm

i have no idea how to get to the back speakers... and i put it all back but i can tell you there's that one plug then a one similar to it but twice its size and then a power looking cable that is circular.
