mandersen8
So I need to shock and strut. Now I have Flurry's 2" spacer in right now and want to know what is the best after market shock and struts to install? I don't do to much wheeling or at least flexing but would be nice to have the option. I have read everywhere that I might have to replace the break lines to make it fit the new stock. Any thought suggestion would be great.
mjotrainbrain
The most popular combination seems to be KYB struts (whichever model # is appropriate for your year Pathfinder) and Bilstein shocks (https://www.4x4parts.com/i-18981408-pathfinder-5100-series-bilstein-rear-shock.html). Will I need to extend the brake cables or can I just install them with out doing that?
colinnwn
I didn't have to extend mine with a 2 inch spring lift on KYB struts and Rancho shocks. Not sure if spacer lift would change that. I understand KYB is the OEM strut manufacturer. And don't get the Rancho shocks if anyone still says they fit.
