Ordered my SFD today!

So I have 4 Sony speakers that are going on CL once I get around to taking a pic.

Met up with Andy last weekend (Jan 3-5) out in Anza Borrego Desert State Park. I thoroughly enjoy this park. The desert scenery is simply amazing and there is alot to see and do.

I plan to download the tracks from my GPS this week...see if I can overlay the map.

Here's some pics.

Camped on Friday at Blair Valley. This was our view in the morning.

Near Ocotillo, CA. The head of Dos Cabezas trail. There were 18 rigs total. Andy and I were the only Pathys. Mostly Toyotas (4runner, Tacomas, pickup, and an FJ), 3 JK Jeeps, and a completely outfitted Zombie Apocalypse van.

Alot steeper than it looks.

My dog always accompanies me. As a matter of fact, I think I was the only one to drive around with my windows down. Everyone else is afraid of getting dust in their vehicles, I think. :/

Atop Diablo Dropoff. Graded, so now more like Diablo Way.

My favorite selfie of the weekend!

And on our way home we ran into Bigfoot.

I have more pics at home. I didn't want to sift through the 400 pics on the Meetup site again. The Pathy did great for 2 days...I put over 300 miles on her and made it home.

I lost my front camera on it's maiden voyage...I think due to vibration issues...so I'll be getting a new one.

I almost went head over heels on The Slot... Scared the crap out of me. No IFS can be sketchy. I'll take a bit more care next time.

I was having some transfer case issues, so I'll be changing the fluid to be safe.

Also, my check engine light came on. I haven't had the time to look more into it. The truck ran fine, so I'm hoping it's an O2 sensor or some other minor issue.

No kiddos next weekend, so the Pathy will get the once over, check out the CEL, change the transfer case fluid, other general maintenance and clean her up a bit.

Hope you enjoy the pics and following video links from the Meetup group.

(if you see this guy... http://youtu.be/1uJf9VFj58A?t=7m50s my buddy says I was higher than him. The video misses it and only catches me at 13:16...this is where we caught up with the group on the 2nd day.)

After a weekend of no gas cans and knowing I need more room for storage when I take the kiddos on my adventures....

I plan to fab something similar to what jeeps have, with overtire storage....it will need to swing out or down to access that liftgate. I picked up an ATV basket from harbor freight.

http://www.harborfreight.com/300-lb-atv-cargo-carrier-69858.html

It's a bolt together carrier, but I will weld it once everything is finished.

I snagged it on sale and with a 20% off coupon. ~$35. The hitch needs extended about 4" to work with my spare tire, and I will need to fab a swivel of some sort...kind of like the swing down hitch mounted bike carriers....but a bit more heavy duty pins as it will support up to 300lbs.

Just an FYI that I love my 2 off-road gas cans. What's cool are the different sizes/capacities and colors. They also pour quite easily with the flex nozzle and rear breather:

Off-road Gas Can

I have no stock in this product, just really like them and suggest them to those I know might be looking.

Thanks! I've actually been looking at the same cans, here at a place locally.

Those look like a smokin deal.

I was actually thinking about sourcing just the O rings for future replacement. I just contacted them today by email to see if they are available individually. I've found similar spec'd O rings at local hardware stores, but nothing exactly the same.
