88pathoffroad Posted July 11, 2006 Share Posted July 11, 2006 The ticking may just be your exhaust, we can't tell from over here. Check the oil pressure sensor and make sure it's plugged in. Precise1 Posted July 11, 2006 Share Posted July 11, 2006 no it means you need a new engine No, not necessarily... Your sensor could be bad, you could need an oil pump, it could be wiring... The ticking could be a valve, manifold leak, etc... Don't drive it until you know you have oil pressure and then try to determine where the ticking is comming from.
