ok i just did a frame swap got the truk back together and went to move the truck and it wont shift from inside the truk my buddy had to get under and shift the lever on the tranny there is no tension on the cable unless he was under the truck holding it..... so do i need a new cable or is it something else....... thanx everyone in advance.....

i think it goes thru some sort of bracket on the frame to hold it tight...i'd check also where it runs up thru the floor and into the shifter to make sure its all hooked up there...if not i have a shift cable (i think if it didnt get chunked off of wheelmans truck)

went and got a used one and gonna try tomorow to figure it out not sure if it was attached to the clips on the top of the tranny ugh i need to find one with it all intact to see where and how the cable runs

 

uugh cost me 65 buxx for a used cable...
