Guest Henrychamb
I just bought a 93 Pathy from the American Embassy in my country, Costa Rica. It has 78000 miles and runs perfectly, but it seems that the car spent all these years under the sun because the roof, hood and the dashboard are in very bad condition. The car is now in the body shop to be painted, and I'm searching for another dashboard, but since I am looking, I was wondering if a 94 dash could be put in instead of a 93 one. I don't really care one way, or the other, but if it doesn't matter, I will buy whichever I find first. These are the pictures. You'll see that gas cap cover is missing because they will do a color match with it. By the way, is my differencial an LSD? I don't see any sticker on it, I guess, I will have to test it by lifting it up and rotating one of the back tires to see which way the other one rotates. http://images1.fotopic.net/?iid=yiypf8&outx=800&quality=70 http://images1.fotopic.net/?iid=yiypfd&outx=800&quality=70 http://images5.fotopic.net/?iid=yiypf7&outx=800&quality=70 http://images3.fotopic.net/?iid=yiypfa&outx=800&quality=70 http://images2.fotopic.net/?iid=yiypfc&outx=800&quality=70 http://images4.fotopic.net/?iid=yiypfb&outx=800&quality=70 http://images5.fotopic.net/?iid=yiypf9&outx=800&quality=

GrimGreg
They are different, you would nee o do other swaps to get it to work correctly, in otherwords can be done, but would require a lot of rework and other parts.

jj big shoe
My dash was cracked like yours when I bought mine, so I got a dash cap to cover it for about $100US. It's a thin molded plastic piece that you trim to fit and adhere on the entire upper part of the dash. It worked out pretty well. Looks like you'd have to source some new vents as well, though. Nice truck, BTW. A little work and she'll be great. Good luck with it. Link to dash cap pic.
Guest Henrychamb
Thanks for the link. If I'm unable to find a proper dash , I think this would be a good second choice, but as you said I need vents as well, so buying a whole dash is preferable. I like my truck as well, and with the work I intend to do, it will look acceptable. I don't want it to look too nice because I believe that a 4x4 has to look like it´s used and abused not overprotected.
