Well everyone, It's that time of the year again here in Yuma AZ. Old foggies, or "Snowbirds" as they are called around here are back in town....and no this is not a good thing. They come down here every winter because they can not handle the colder climates for the northwestern, northern part of the states, (including Canada). So we get them down here every winter. It's not that I hate them or anything, it's because they drive these freaking huge rv's, or drive around town in their cars, really slowly, cut into your lane...with out knowing that you are only 3 feet behind them when they cut you off. And to top it all off some of them can barely see past the steering wheel!!! I'm concerned because every year when they come down here I almost get hit by a snowbird, or they do some stupid manuver and almost end up hitting them.....arrgh :furious: ...I hate when winter comes here. other than that i love the winter. :D

Hey now, not all of them. My grandparents should be passing through there sometime soon. They spend a few weeks here, a few weeks there, maybe go back to the last place for a few more weeks... wherever the weather cooperates. You'll know grandpa by his 2005 Duramax Silverado Dually on A/T's with a pimp 5th wheel in tow, going 5 mph faster than anybody on the road. If you see him coming in the rear view, you will get out of the way.

HA! my gramps is a full time snowbird... He used to cruise the biggest old Caddy coup de ville. He went blind in his left eye but still had a drivers lic. that was valid for years to come (Doesn't AZ do 40 year term licensces?) So he just didn't turn left, he said. (some justification huh?). Then the caddy was no more, mid way through a left turn. Least no one was hurt in this situation
