On my 94 wd21 the plastic cover behind the steering wheel keeps popping off, top and bottom piece, every time you turn the wheel left or right like when taking a corner it looks like some of the screw holders broke but you can just put them back on around the colum and they will stay until you turn, any ideas or sggestions, thank you

Mines broken also. For a fix, look to see if there is still anything for the screws to bite into. If so, go with a larger diameter/longer length (whatever is appropriate)self tapping (although many others will work) screw to hold it together. If not, junk yard time baby... Virtually any color should be fine as you can always paint it to match the inside of your truck and then you have touch up paint left over for other things... ;)

No, mine was only jimmied open on the ignition side... It doesn't fall off, just looks bad. One other thought I had is that POR15 makes some sort of epoxy putty that is basically machinable so you may be able to 'reconstruct' enough for a screw to bite into and drill a hole (or form it around a straw or something). I know mold makers like it so it must be good stuff. Go to POR15 site and check out if it's compatable with plastic. Maybe other epoxys or something like JB weld would work. Maybe you can just cross drill something to give the stuff something to hold on to. It's not like it needs a lot of force to hold it on. Problem with glue is if you adhere it together, you'll need to get back in there in a few weeks. Murphy's law you know... My vehicular concerns are much greater than plastic bits right now so I haven't messed with it yet...

Hey Bud, put out a firm cry of help for anyone going to a junkyard in this thread. State your year, color preference, max expenditure and zip code for shipping costs. Lotta good guys in this forum that may help you out if they can. Also post the same in the in the parts wanted forum. I've seen a lot of stuff shipped around and have shipped/received some myself. Sometimes for free just in the spirit of things, but don't count on it, LOL. Some people have a lot of junk yards nearby that have some Pathys, but out here in Cali it's hell to find one !!
