Bilstein Shocks 1997 Pathfinder 4x4

Hello everyone, 

 

I want to upgrade the shocks on the Pathfinder to Bilsteins. I currently have the KYB gas adjust shocks. I've searched the bilstein website and it states that they don't make any shocks for my vehicle, however, I saw on 4x4 parts that they sell Bilsteins for my vehicle. I have a one inch spacer lift, so I'll most likely go for the Bilsteins 5100 series, no lift option instead of the 2" lift option shock which they also have. WIll this bolt up without any modifications needed and should I get the no lift or 2" lift option since I have a 1 inch space? 

I'm just confused as Bilstein says they don't make for the 97 Pathfinder, but 4x4 parts says it fits the vehicle.

There a no bilstein shocks that were specifically made for the r50. The shock they are selling happens to fit. With that said, 4x4 parts is a rip off. Search on this forum and you will find part numbers for bilstein shocks that work. You can then buy them for much less than 4x4 parts.

Here's a link to those Bilstein shocks https://amzn.to/3ynRxAQ they are much cheaper to get this way vs getting them through 4X4parts.com, looks like they wanted $54.00 just for shipping lol no thanks.
